On @CommonsLeader @Jacob_Rees_Mogg

If you are going to lie

Then lie big

And lie straight to people's face

The contempt that you have for people who fall for the lies

Is only a close second to the contempt you have for yourself

£15 billion is nothing to Jacob...
You see many years ago

A sad rabble of amoral cheating lying racist fantasy peddling flag shagging nativist charlatans

Managed to sell a con based on a red bus amongst so much else

That red bus of course £350 million a week
Having "won"

5 years after that win

The winners have so much to show for it

Billions of cost (in preparation costs, BOE stimulus and liabilities)

Billions of damages in lost growth

Lying to Her Majesty

Unlawfully proroguing the Mother of Parliaments

Breaking the law
And of course pissing on the union by putting a border in the Irish Sea no unionist could support

Unionism dead

Murdered on the altar of brexit

But anyway enough about morals, and honesty, and integrity, and ethics

I could talk about a moral compass and Jacob

But we will come back to that later
Instead we are here to talk about Jacob Rees Mogg

No not on Bagpuss

No not on lies of food prices

No not on "protection camps"

No not on cuts to foreign aid justified with nativist hollow bullshit

But on the social care plan of £15bn
Now I do feel for those who try and defend the red bus

Truly it is pitiful

You go through the well it wasn't a promise

And then the lies on the figure as well

Its use was contemptible

Dominic & co knew what they were doing

Their contempt for those who fell for it - eternal
Instead I don't want to talk about a red bus

I want to talk about Jacob Rees Mogg

A man who when challenged on lies

Had no other route but to lie more and lie bigger

That was all he had

He had utterly no shame at lying to the face of his constituents
I suppose Boris has rubbed off on Jacob

Lying to people's faces becomes so much easier than lying behind their back tbh

eh @JohnnyMercerUK ?
Anyway

Jacob when challenged on the lie of the red bus

Came out with this
So @CommonsLeader @Jacob_Rees_Mogg

Stated our brexit dividend was going to be MORE THAN £1.7 billion per week

Why would a social care funding hole of £15 billion present any challenge

You can pay for that with 9/52 weeks

That's less than 1/5 of the annual brexit dividend
Jacob alas lied

He didn't care what the lie was

He didn't care whom he lied to

He just needed some filler to respond to the audience question

Alas
Jacob had an ever more fascinating when asked a simple question

Does Boris Johnson have a moral compass

Not where it points

Simply does he have one

Jacob could not answer

His bullshit waffle deflection was quite sad

Alas

And for anyone who feels they haven't had enough of Boris Johnson

I had 3 rather large threads on Boris Johnson

I am sad he is the focus - it should be those who enabled him

A sad "party" in thrall to cheating, lies, racism, project, self and career

[thread] I would like to thank all those

Who in their defence of allegations of Priti Patel & Boris Johnson in relation to racism

Have not once played the ball

Thatcher said something about people like that

Instead...
Here's a top 10 of my "favourite" dodges
Here's some examples

You see with the bingo card sheet I have given you above how people score

I am going to defend Boris Johnson

I didn't donate to his wallpaper crowdfund

Or his begging for a nanny crowdfund, holiday home donation or his home takeaway food parcels donation

Instead

I am going to defend him from charges of racism

I am taking a leaf from Boris Johnson's "book"

No not "72 Virgins"

No not "Life in the fast lane"

But from his two letters

One to argue the case for Leave

One to argue the case for Remain

So I am going to write that other thread today
To coin an example of a debating society

I am going to undertake the exercise of arguing the "other" side

See Boris Johnson below at Oxford and him speaking "eloquently" of one of our EU neighbours

I am going to praise @Nigel_Farage

Yup

I am going there

I would like to thank him for his honesty
I am going to focus on that occasion of his honesty

I want to use it to illustrate a question on the why he was honest and the how in the manner of how he said it
His "honesty" was evidenced on the morning of the 24th June 2016

"We have a £10 billion a year featherbed"

To go A Few Good Men

If events are safe

And a Prime Minister assures us they are safe

Then why is the VIP area socially distanced?

The VIPs vs the plebs
I took the use of the words pleb from this

[thread] on @UKPrimeMinister @BorisJohnson and his decisions in relation to #FreedomDay

I want Boris to be right

I want him to lead

The fact that neither of those things is true or will happen

Does not remove my hope

It just demonstrates the fucking futility of it all
So first of all

I want covid to be over

I don't want to wear masks any more

I don't want to face restrictions from public health policies

But
I want this to be done in a way that is based on data

And takes an approach based on the risks

Of infection

Of hospitalisation

Of death

Of long covid

of the disruption that isolating due to infection has

And of the disruption that isolating due to risk of exposure has

[thread] Now @joymorrissey blocked me a while back

Just for pointing out the words and record of her party

And I want to thank her for that

Because it means I don't get to see her doing things like this

No I am not talking about the portrait of the Queen

It is an MP sharing a photograph with a backdrop of her work computer in the background showing the screen active

That's a bit of an information security risk if she had anything sensitive on screen at the time
Oh and on the Queen's portrait

I would ask

In what way does she think lying to the Queen to unlawfully prorogue Parliament represents British values?
