💎 Torres - 2 goals and 1 assist playing as a striker for Man City 👀
🔴 Greenwood - Keeps scoring despite not having a very high xG. Class finisher!
🟣 Antonio - Another double digit haul, 3 in a row now. Incredible value for money obviously.
GW 4 Fixture to target
🔴 MUN vs NEW
United face Newcastle in a game that can only end in one way. Ronaldo back at Old Trafford against an extremely leaky Newcastle defence. Goals incoming.
GW 4 Player recommendation:
Cristiano Ronaldo is back. I don’t need to tell you why Ronaldo will be a good FPL pick, but I can tell you that the GW 4 fixture is perfect. Newcastle have conceded an xG of 2.55 per game this season, the numbers speak for themselves.
If you’re wildcarding, Ronaldo is probably a must have. If you’re not wildcarding, I would definitely prioritize bringing in Ronaldo, even if it means selling Bruno.
GW 4 Player to avoid:
Scott Carson (4.0) looks like a starter for Man City in GW 4, but I wouldn’t advice Wildcarders to pick him. He will only play one game and then blocks a City triple up, which you will probably want at some time between your first and second WC.
GW 4 Worth consideration
If Firmino is ruled out with a long term injury (Update needed), Diogo Jota suddenly becomes a nailed starter for Liverpool. Costing only 7.6m, he would be one of my first picks in a wildcard team.
Bruno Fernandes Replacements:
In order to get funds for Ronaldo, many are downgrading Bruno this week. Here are my favourite replacements:
The top goalscorer in the history of football is now back in the Premier League, with Newcastle (H) in his first game. He’s very likely to start so if you own Ronaldo, captain Ronaldo.
2) Mohamed Salah - 💰12.5
Fixture: LEE (A)
Leeds have conceded 8 goals in their first 3 games, and now Liverpool come to Elland Road. Captaining Salah is never a bad idea, especially not in a fixture as good as this one.
3) Michail Antonio - 💰7.9
Fixture: CRY (H)
4 goals, 4 assists and 40 FPL points in 3 games for Michail Antonio. Going up against Southampton, who have conceded an xG of 1.95 per game this season, Antonio is no doubt a good captaincy choice.
GW 4 Captaincy - Differential
Mason Greenwood - 💰7.7
Fixture: NEW (H)
3 goals from 11 goal attempts this season for Greenwood who should be nailed to start in GW 4. NEW (H) is a great fixture which means that Greenwood is a good differential captaincy pick.
GW 4 Differential picks:
1️⃣ Adama Traore - 💰6.0
Owned by: 2.8%
Fixture: WAT (A)

Pros:
- Target fixture swings ✅
- Catch price rises and build team value ✅
- Get Ronaldo without taking hits ✅
- Opportunity to jump on value players ✅
- Get rid of failed punts/bad picks ✅
Cons:
- Can’t target GW 7/8 fixture swings as effectively ❌
- 3 GWs is a small sample size, so we might make bad decisions if we only base them on information from GW 1-3 ❌

Liverpool go up against Norwich in GW 1, which is a very clear fixture to target. This should end with a big win for Liverpool which makes Salah, Mané, Trent and possibly even Tsimikas being great FPL picks.
GW 1 Player recommendation:
Riyad Mahrez is always a superb FPL option when he plays, the issue is of course Pep’s tendency to rotate the winger. However, with multiple injuries in the squad and players that haven’t got a full pre season, Mahrez could see a lot more...
The world number 1, Michael Coone, has had an amazing season and overtook the lead this week, but if we dig deeper into it, how has he played this season to get where he is?
Michael Coone started the season very well with a GW 1 rank of 43k, which is actually the lowest OR he has had this entire season. He kept up the green arrows and after an outstanding GW 6 he jumped from 18k to 2k and since then he hasn’t left top 3k once.
His next big jump came in GW 11 when he got from 2.3k to OR 618 which indicated in which direction his season was going. He then played his first WC in GW 15 setting him up for a 136 points Bench Boost in GW 19, taking him to OR 21st.
