Pros and Cons about wildcarding:

Pros:
- Target fixture swings βœ…
- Catch price rises and build team value βœ…
- Get Ronaldo without taking hits βœ…
- Opportunity to jump on value players βœ…
- Get rid of failed punts/bad picks βœ…
Cons:

- Can’t target GW 7/8 fixture swings as effectively ❌
- 3 GWs is a small sample size, so we might make bad decisions if we only base them on information from GW 1-3 ❌
Fixture Runs to Target πŸ“Š

βšͺ️ Leeds (GW 5-10)

Leeds are heading towards a very appealing fixture run starting in GW 5. If you can bench your Leeds players in GW 4 vs Liverpool, I would definitely include them in a wildcard.
πŸ”΅ Everton (GW 4-6)

This fixture run is a bit short term but Burnley, Villa and Norwich in the next three GWs gives Everton assets great potential both offensively and defensively. DCL, Gray and Digne are my favourite picks.
πŸ”΄ Arsenal (GW 4-11)

Okay, it is Arsenal and they really don’t impress right now. However, their fixtures look very good from GW 4-11, so you can find good value in the London team. White (4.4) the standout option.
🟠 Wolves (GW 4-14)

Wolves have lost their first 3 games this season, but they have still impressed and put up some promising stats. They can now look forward to a fixture run of almost only easy fixtures from GW 4-14. Semedo and Traore are my favourite FPL picks.
πŸ”΅ Chelsea (GW 4, GW 7-11)

A nice GW 4 fixture is followed by 2 more difficult ones, but in GW 7 the fixtures look incredible and so it might be worth including a couple of Chelsea assets in your team for the long term benefit.
Fixture Run to Avoid:

🟣 Aston Villa (GW 4-7)

After having great fixtures GW 1-3, Villa now face a way harder fixture run. Chelsea, Everton, Man Utd and Spurs next makes all Villa assets clear sells in FPL.
Wildcard Foundations βš™οΈ

πŸ”΄ Salah - 12.5
πŸ”΄ Trent - 7.5
πŸ‘Ή Ronaldo - 12.5
πŸ‘Ή Shaw - 5.5
βš’οΈ Antonio - 7.9
Wildcard Bargains πŸ’°

πŸ”΅ Duffy - 4.1
πŸ”΄ Livramento - 4.1
🟠 Marcal - 4.5

πŸ”΅ Gray - 5.6
🟑 Sarr - 6.0
🐝 Mbeumo - 5.5

🟑 Dennis - 5.2
🟒 Pukki - 5.9
Wildcard Differentials 🎲

βšͺ️ Sergio Reguilon - 5.1
TSB: 9.9%

Spurs have started the season very well and have kept 3 clean sheets in a row. Reguilon has also grabbed 4 bonus points so far. I expect another CS vs Palace in GW 4, and Spurs have okay fixtures until GW 9.
🟠 Adama Traore - 6.0
TSB: 1.8%

In the first 3 GWs, Adama Traore had 2 big chances, created one big chance, had 7 goal attempts in the box, created 9 chances and had an xGI of 2.11. Despite this he blanked in all 3 games, but the stats indicate that returns will come.
πŸ”΄ Diogo Jota - 7.6
TSB: 15.5%

If Firmino is confirmed out, I’d say Jota should be in every WC team. Firmino out would mean that Jota is nailed to start and when he starts, he often delivers. He had an xGI/90 of 0.59 last season, which is very good for a player that costs 7.6m.
πŸ’Ž Ferran Torres - 7.1
TSB: 7.4%

With KDB being injured and Jesus seen as a winger, Ferran Torres seems to have nailed down that striker spot, at least short term. 2 goals, 1 assist and 18 FPL points in GW 3. At only 7.1m, Torres looks like incredibely good value for money.
🟠 Nelson Semedo - 4.9
TSB: 1.5%

Despite playing Leicester, Spurs and Man Utd in the first 3 GWs, Wolves only conceded 3 big chances during this period. This indicates future clean sheets, especially now when the fixtures turn. At only 4.9m, Semedo could prove to be a great pick
More Differentials 🎲

🐝 Raya - 4.5
πŸ”΅ RΓΌdiger - 5.5
πŸ’Ž Gundogan - 7.3
🟠 Jimenez - 7.4
Wildcard - Players to Avoid ❄️

πŸ”΄ Bruno Fernandes - 12.1

With Ronaldo likely taking over Penalty and Freekick duty, I simply don’t think Bruno is worth Β£12.1m anymore. Downgrade and use the funds to afford Ronaldo, Lukaku or maybe both.
🟣 Danny Ings - 8.0

Villa fixtures take a turn to the bad now, which lessens the appeal of Danny Ings. Also worth noting that his 3 goal involvements this season have come from an xGI of 1.06 which means that he has significantly overperformed. Avoid!
βšͺ️ Heung Min Son - 10.1

Tottenham haven’t impressed much attacking wise so far this season, hence I wouldn’t invest over Β£10m in a Spurs player. Go with a budget mid and use the funds to allow a premium striker instead.
Wildcard Draft πŸ“ˆ

If I were to play my WC this week, this would likely be my team ‡️

GW 3 Notes - Teams πŸ“

🟠 Wolves with another good performance, but yet again a 1-0 loss.

πŸ”΅ Chelsea - Showed great defensive stability despite being one man down at Anfield. Chelsea can keep a CS against anyone.

βšͺ️ Spurs - Didn’t really impress, but secured 3 points again.
GW 3 Notes - Players πŸ“

πŸ’Ž Torres - 2 goals and 1 assist playing as a striker for Man City πŸ‘€

πŸ”΄ Greenwood - Keeps scoring despite not having a very high xG. Class finisher!

🟣 Antonio - Another double digit haul, 3 in a row now. Incredible value for money obviously.

πŸ”΅ Chelsea - Very comfortable win in GW 1, definitely title contenders this year.

🟣 West Ham - Great offensively, Antonio and Benrahma look superb. Avoid defenders for now though.
GW 1 Notes - Players πŸ“

πŸ”΄ Greenwood - Looked incredible vs Leeds. Should be nailed for the next games, great time to buy.

GW 1 Fixture to target:

Liverpool go up against Norwich in GW 1, which is a very clear fixture to target. This should end with a big win for Liverpool which makes Salah, ManΓ©, Trent and possibly even Tsimikas being great FPL picks.
GW 1 Player recommendation:

Riyad Mahrez is always a superb FPL option when he plays, the issue is of course Pep’s tendency to rotate the winger. However, with multiple injuries in the squad and players that haven’t got a full pre season, Mahrez could see a lot more...

Analyzing the number 1️⃣ in the world (THREAD)

The world number 1, Michael Coone, has had an amazing season and overtook the lead this week, but if we dig deeper into it, how has he played this season to get where he is?

#FPLCommunity #FPL
His season in words:

Michael Coone started the season very well with a GW 1 rank of 43k, which is actually the lowest OR he has had this entire season. He kept up the green arrows and after an outstanding GW 6 he jumped from 18k to 2k and since then he hasn’t left top 3k once.
His next big jump came in GW 11 when he got from 2.3k to OR 618 which indicated in which direction his season was going. He then played his first WC in GW 15 setting him up for a 136 points Bench Boost in GW 19, taking him to OR 21st.
