NEW @FreeBeacon:
Records show Gavin Newsom received fancy wines from David Boies, the lawyer who hired private spies to smear Harvey Weinstein's accusers.

This adds some context to Rose McGowan's recent allegations about Boies and Newsom's wife.
freebeacon.com/elections/news…
McGowan told @RubinReport that Newsom's wife, Jen Siebel Newsom, contacted her in '17 at Boies's behest to get her to back off Weinstein.
Siebel Newsom joined the chorus of actresses who lambasted Weinstein after allegations against him went public. She also blasted his "legal machine" for aiding the cover-up. huffpost.com/entry/harvey-w…
But Siebel Newsom left some stuff out. She didn't publicly shame Boies, who led the spy effort for Weinstein.

A month after Siebel Newsom wrote that, Boies gave Gavin Newsom a $300 bottle of wine. He gave more bottles to Newsom in 2018 and 2020, records show.
Another twist: the Newsoms' brother-in-law is Josh Schiller, a partner at Boies Schiller Flexner.

Schiller was arrested in January with domestic violence against Gavin Newsom's sister-in-law. Charges were dropped, go figure.

New and interesting information in the Sussmann indictment. His tech executive client allegedly accessed non-public info about Trump, and they coordinated all of this with agents of the Clinton campaign. Are the walls closing in? Image
This is huge. A tech exec who Sussmann represented discussed faking a link between the Trump Org and Alfa Bank. The exec and other researchers also doubted that there were nefarious contacts involving Trump Org, but Sussmann would later claim to FBI and media that there were ImageImage

Republicans say that their ruling shows they are consistent on the issue of in-kind contributions from foreigners. They said that Chalupa did not solicit a contribution by asking the Ukrainian embassy to plant a question about Paul Manafort at a press conference for Poroshenko.
Republicans also accuse Democratic FEC chair Ellen Weintraub of chicanery in handling the case file. Weintraub voted to exonerate Chalupa, but voted against closing the case file so that it could be made public.

EXCLUSIVE @FreeBeacon: Dems Hosted Ex-Black Panther Implicated In Torture For Event Where Panelists Praised Cop Killers

Rep. Barbara Lee referred to one panelist, Ericka Huggins, as her "former colleague and comrade" at a forum about COINTELPRO freebeacon.com/democrats/dems…
Huggins, a former Black Panther leader, was charged in the 1969 murder of Alex Rackley, a fellow Panther thought to be an informant.

Huggins admitted to boiling the water that other Panthers poured on Rackley during a torture session. She admitted to kicking Rackley.
Two Panthers shot Rackley and dumped his body in a river. Huggins was not accused of taking part in the murder, but she was charged with ordering the hit along w/ Bobby Seale (who was also at the congressional forum).
