NEW: Feinstein accepts lifetime achievement award from a foundation heavily funded by a suspected Chinese Communist Party front group. @FreeBeaconfreebeacon.com/democrats/fein…
The Bush China Foundation, founded by Neil Bush, awarded Feinstein with the lifetime achievement award. Axios reported last week that the China-US Exchange Foundation committed to a $5 million, five-year grant to the Bush China Foundation. axios.com/scoop-bush-fam…
Feinstein was at the confirmation hearing for CIA Director William Burns when he testified that he ended a financial partnership when he was at Carnegie Endowment with the China-US Exchange because of their influence activities.
Also in the report: a little noticed FARA filing from 2010 that lays out China-US Exchange's influence strategy. They hired a firm to cultivate ties to journalists, former lawmakers and academics in order to influence opinion on China. efile.fara.gov/docs/5875-Exhi…

EXCLUSIVE @FreeBeacon: Dems Hosted Ex-Black Panther Implicated In Torture For Event Where Panelists Praised Cop Killers
Rep. Barbara Lee referred to one panelist, Ericka Huggins, as her "former colleague and comrade" at a forum about COINTELPRO freebeacon.com/democrats/dems…
Huggins, a former Black Panther leader, was charged in the 1969 murder of Alex Rackley, a fellow Panther thought to be an informant.
Huggins admitted to boiling the water that other Panthers poured on Rackley during a torture session. She admitted to kicking Rackley.
Two Panthers shot Rackley and dumped his body in a river. Huggins was not accused of taking part in the murder, but she was charged with ordering the hit along w/ Bobby Seale (who was also at the congressional forum).
NEW: Two prominent lobbyists affiliated with ATLANTIC COUNCIL -- Richard Burt and Fran Burwell -- took in $2.8 million lobbying for Nord Stream 2, the pipeline supported by Putin.
Burt and Burwell met with State Dept official Kathleen Kavelec in Sept. 2017. Her calendars note their affiliation with Atlantic Council. (Kavalec's next meeting happened to be with Russia's ambassador)
Atlantic Council has 3 broad factions on Nord Stream. There's Burt/Burwell, then a very anti-pipeline cohort, and then a group that opposes Russia but also opposes sanctions on European companies (same position held by Biden).
State Legislative Leaders Foundation (SLLF) hosts summits for state legislators, its big corporate backers, and Chinese officials.
The group partners with Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, which the U.S. deems a CCP front organization.
California State Senate Leader Robert Hertzberg is one of SLLF's most prominent members. SLLF and CPAFFC (the front group) have each paid $7,500 for Hertzberg's trips to summits in China.
Peter Daszak is on the commission. Both he and Sachs have reliably dismissed the Wuhan lab leak theory as a Western attack on China.
Sachs recently blamed the U.S. for tensions with China at an event hosted by the China Public Diplomacy Association, which operates under the foreign affairs ministry.
He's also called U.S. the "greatest threat" to global peace.
Atlantic Council, one of the top U.S. think tanks, took money from BURISMA despite warnings from an anti-corruption group that the Ukrainian energy company was using it to "clear up its reputation," emails show. dailycaller.com/2021/03/11/atl…
Atlantic Council's go-to defense is that it always maintains "intellectual independence" in its partnerships with donors.
Which *might* be true, but in the case of Burisma, the donor was paying for the legitimacy that Atlantic Council can provide in Washington.
More insight into how Atlantic Council operates.
Emails released from a lawsuit against Fusion GPS show that Atlantic Council official Anders Aslund courted the owners of Russia's Alfa Bank for donations.
Lancet editor has said the world has "a great deal to thank China for" regarding pandemic, & that Trump committed "crimes against humanity" by defunding WHO.
But Richard Horton has long been cozy with China, receiving a gov't "Friendship" award in 2015. dailycaller.com/2021/03/04/lan…
The award was from China's State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA), which operated the Thousand Talents plan.
Horton received award for his “enthusiastic support for China’s construction” and for his “friendly co-operation.”
SAFEA funded at least three studies published in The Lancet in 2017-2019. Horton attended a SAFEA symposium in 2016, and contributed to a report provided to Chinese government.
