NEW @FreeBeacon:

Kurt Campbell was a director and Jack Lew is chairman of the National Committee on US-China Relations, a corporate-backed, pro-China business league that works closely w/ Chinese influence groups. freebeacon.com/biden-administ…
Two officials with the National Committee spoke at an event in January hosted by the China-US Exchange Foundation, an alleged front group for the Chinese Communist Party.
The National Committee calls itself an educational nonprofit that seeks dialogue w/ China. But its almost entirely backed by huge corporations that seek business in China, like Blackstone, Chubb, Citigroup, Disney and Facebook.
Chubb is a good example of the business model at play. Chubb contributes hundreds of thousands of $ a year to the National Committee, where its execs can meet w/ Chinese gov't officials.
These companies (and the National Committee, by extension) have to suck up to China in order to do business there.

This was Chubb's press release when it struck a partnership w/ a China state-controlled insurer in 2017. It said it would keep "in line" w/ two CCP initiatives:
Kurt Campbell, the National Security Council's Asia czar, was w/ the National Committee until May 2020. Lew took over in January as chairman. He was an early endorser of Biden and met w/ campaign officials last year.

NEW:
By a 4-2 vote, the FEC determined that the DNC and ex-contractor Alexandra Chalupa did not violate campaign finance laws by seeking help from the Ukrainian government.

3 Republicans and 1 Democrat sided w/ DNC
freebeacon.com/national-secur…
Republicans say that their ruling shows they are consistent on the issue of in-kind contributions from foreigners. They said that Chalupa did not solicit a contribution by asking the Ukrainian embassy to plant a question about Paul Manafort at a press conference for Poroshenko.
Republicans also accuse Democratic FEC chair Ellen Weintraub of chicanery in handling the case file. Weintraub voted to exonerate Chalupa, but voted against closing the case file so that it could be made public.

Huggins, a former Black Panther leader, was charged in the 1969 murder of Alex Rackley, a fellow Panther thought to be an informant.

Huggins admitted to boiling the water that other Panthers poured on Rackley during a torture session. She admitted to kicking Rackley.
Two Panthers shot Rackley and dumped his body in a river. Huggins was not accused of taking part in the murder, but she was charged with ordering the hit along w/ Bobby Seale (who was also at the congressional forum).

NEW: Two prominent lobbyists affiliated with ATLANTIC COUNCIL -- Richard Burt and Fran Burwell -- took in $2.8 million lobbying for Nord Stream 2, the pipeline supported by Putin.

Two companies invested in Nord Stream have donated >$50k to the think tank freebeacon.com/national-secur…
Burt and Burwell met with State Dept official Kathleen Kavelec in Sept. 2017. Her calendars note their affiliation with Atlantic Council. (Kavalec's next meeting happened to be with Russia's ambassador)
Atlantic Council has 3 broad factions on Nord Stream. There's Burt/Burwell, then a very anti-pipeline cohort, and then a group that opposes Russia but also opposes sanctions on European companies (same position held by Biden).

NEW:

This influential legislative group has for years worked as a go-between for state legislators and a CCP front group.

Michael Lin introduced the group, SLLF, to China in 2009. He organized Hunter Biden's first visit there months later.

State Legislative Leaders Foundation (SLLF) hosts summits for state legislators, its big corporate backers, and Chinese officials.

The group partners with Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, which the U.S. deems a CCP front organization.
California State Senate Leader Robert Hertzberg is one of SLLF's most prominent members. SLLF and CPAFFC (the front group) have each paid $7,500 for Hertzberg's trips to summits in China.

Rockefeller Foundation Bankrolls Covid-19 Commission Led By Beijing Sympathizing Economist Jeffrey Sachs

freebeacon.com/coronavirus/ro…
Peter Daszak is on the commission. Both he and Sachs have reliably dismissed the Wuhan lab leak theory as a Western attack on China.
Sachs recently blamed the U.S. for tensions with China at an event hosted by the China Public Diplomacy Association, which operates under the foreign affairs ministry.

He's also called U.S. the "greatest threat" to global peace.
