How often are you in a bad mood?

How often does it affect your ability to “have a good time?”

Here’s one simple trick to (almost instantly) get out of it

A thread:
Tell me if this sounds familiar...

A problem pops into your head.

A problem you've had before.

A problem that you start to focus on a bit too much.
It starts to take over your mind. It's the only thing you think about now, and the problem get's bigger until it completely saps your energy.

This is not good.
Given time, this problem can dig into your relationships, your work, and of course - your well-being.

Over a 10 year span, if unresolved, this problem can lodge itself deep into your subconscious mind. Limiting your potential without you knowing.

Let's bite it in the butt.
As an entrepreneur, there was always a recurring problem in my life.

I always felt busy. Way too busy. Tasks were endlessly piling up and always in the back of my mind. I couldn't fully enjoy anything I was doing.

I wasn't fully present when spending time with my loved ones.
I wasn't fully present during my "focused" work sessions.

I was constantly checking my task list at the gym.

As a result, my relationship ended, my creative work suffered, and my workouts + nutrition fell with it.

The reality?
I wasn't busy at all. I only thought I was busy because I wasn't used to my workload.

That didn't matter to me. The problem grew in my head and slowly wreaked havoc on other areas of my life.

The solution?
It was too simple. Hidden in plain sight. And something we all understand the power of.

Once I pinned it as the solution - these big "problems" I was having vanished almost immediately.
I was able to dive fully into my relationships, do my best work, and start making consistent gains again.

// How To Solve Your Problem of Having Problems //

As always, we overthink things.

What solved my problem of having problems?

Speaking and/or writing.
Speaking / writing honestly about the problem I was going through with somebody or something I could confide in.

You can speak to yourself, to your journal, or in your own head... but the magic comes when you speak to another person.
Have you ever been pissed, talked to a loved one, and still had the problem after?

Or did it vanish into thin air because you realized how unimportant it was in the grand scheme of things?

The key here is awareness.
Without awareness, problems become a part of your identity, lessening your ability to solve them.

Like a virus attaching to their host.

The virus causes problems, sometimes unknowingly, to the host it attaches itself too.
The vaccine (that you should actually get) is speaking honestly about your problem.

This can be tapped into at anytime.

If you have something important coming up where you need to be fully present - call up a loved one and just let the problem flow out of you.
I'm not saying this is easy.

It's actually quite difficult. It takes a lot of practice to be truly honest with yourself and the person you are speaking to.

But once you get the hang of it, you stop seeing problems as problems.
You start seeing them as little viruses that have the potential to attach to you but can be eradicated beforehand.

The next time a perceived problem pops into your head:
1) Make a physical note of how you feel and how the problem is affecting you.

2) Make a reminder to call somebody you can confide in and speak honestly about your problem to.

3) Enjoy less stress, overthinking, worry, and anxiety.

I fucked around and spun my wheels for years

I don't want you to do the same

Here's a fast-tracked roadmap to your first $5K on social media

thread:
Who is this post for?

Those that have a skill, information, or expertise that they want to sell via a digital product or freelance/coaching service.

The last thing I want is for people to be spinning their wheels and overthinking what they need to do to make money.
Refining your offer, marketing, and promotional tactics are great - but if they take your focus away from lever-moving tasks, you won't get anywhere.

Your marketing can be the best in the business but if it isn't in front of people's faces then it is all in vain.

Steal this offer

- Twitter account management
- Pay for shoutouts / growth
- Create authoritative content
- DM people who interact
- Book calls or close in DMs
- Target established coaches

Start off charging small commission

Then $2-4K/mo plus commission

Yw
How to get started:

- buy a Twitter growth guide (literally any)
- buy a sales / DM course
- start practicing with your own account
- create onboarding + content + DM systems from the courses teachings
- use the sales course to start landing initial clients
- get results (use part of what they pay to pay for promotions)
- refine your process / systems
- get more results and charge more
- sail off into the sunset

If you sell something online (or want to)

Here are 7 online business mistakes that should be avoided sooner rather than later

(unless you're happy making less money... or none at all)

// THREAD //
1) Your offer sucks

Everyone gets into this whole online business thing and follows the cliche advice:

"Learn a skill, sell the skill"

Or for coaches "just start helping people and eventually charge"

This goes for digital products as well

This is ok, don't get me wrong
But you position yourself as a commodity

You limit how much you can charge

You will get the same "I need to think about it" on sales calls

You will get stuck in the DM outreach trap and waste hours of precious time

What's the solution?

Nobody want's to be a starving artist.

I've helped dozens of creators, coaches, and freelancers hit their first 5 figure months.

Here are 5 similarities that held them back:
1) Poor Positioning

Especially in the creative / information based niches

- Graphic design
- Web design/dev
- Writing
- Mindset / "life" coaching
- Self improvement
- Even some marketers (ironic)

How do you solve poor positioning?

By going deep instead of wide.
I'm a firm believer in building a "wide" (personal) brand

But having products / services that position themselves deeply in that audience

This happens with specificity

- Market research
- Customer avatar
- Understanding deep pains
- TALKING to your target on the phone

To make things extremely simple, we are going to turn your entire marketing strategy into a one-sentence description.

This will help you regain clarity when you fall off track.

I learned about this sentence from Dan Henry
Before we dive into what it actually is, we need other parts of our marketing locked down.

// Your Ideal Customer //

Your ideal customer is the person you would enjoy working with. They have more than enough funds to afford your service without being needy or annoying.
