Are these increases in spreading speed reasonable given the response to SARS-COV-2 with lockdowns, masks, social distancing, etc., all enforced by police powers, while SARS-COV-1 experienced next to ZERO in response? 8,000 infected by SARS-COV-1 and 37,800,000 infected by COVID?

Keep probing the history of research into coronaviruses going back to 1965. Something doesn't seem right about this. It was hard for people to catch SARS-COV-1.
