@EmeraldRobinson @WinkWeary @KJP46 Note that the NIH paragraph describes the part of the spike protein that changed, and is therefore throwing off the vaccine's immune response, was part of the RECEPTOR BINDING DOMAIN (RBD). In my thread, I described how Pfizer was trying to choose between a vaccine...

The article I cite claims the vaccine using the entire length of the spike protein was the vaccine chosen. One change in the RBD should not be enough...
@EmeraldRobinson @WinkWeary @KJP46 ...to suppress the immune response created by the work of the vaccine. Either Pfizer used the RBD, and not the entire spike protein, or there is a flaw in the narrative about the Delta variant.
