@Hadithoftheday Hamzah R.A.
Umar R.A accepted Islam three days after Hamzah R.A.
At that time the Muslims numbered were thirty-nine.
Umar R.A said:

"I remember that when I became Muslim, there were just thirty-nine men with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I brought the number to forty.
@Hadithoftheday Umar Ibn Al Khattab R.A's acceptance of Islam is perhaps one of the most extraordinary.

As influence of Muhammad ﷺ grew, Umar R.A became increasingly resentful. +
@Hadithoftheday In the sixth year of the revelation, Umar R.A was appointed by a group of Quraish men to kill the Prophet ﷺ. He set out towards the Prophet ﷺ, sword in hand, ready to kill him.
@Hadithoftheday Enroute he met a friend and when Umar R.A explained what he intended to do, imagine Umar R.A's horror when his friend said, "Why don't you take care of your own family first & set them right?".It turned out that Umar's own sister,Fatimah,& her husband had secretly embraced Islam
@Hadithoftheday He was so mortified and furious at this news,& went straight to Fatimah's house where he heard the voice of his brother in law, reciting from the Qur'an Umar swiftly started assaulting him, whereupon Fatimah threw herself between Umar and her husband in order to defend the latter
@Hadithoftheday Umar R.A struck her violently, until she was bleeding. Injured as she was, Fatimah defiantly told Umar "O Umar, you can do what you like,but you cannot turn our hearts away from Islam"
@Hadithoftheday These words had a profound effect on Umar
What was this faith that made weak women so strong of heart?
He felt pity for his sister,& his instinctive sense of fairness prevailed. So he asked Fatimah to show him what she was reading,so that he could know what Prophetﷺ had brought
@Hadithoftheday She refused to give it to him by saying "No, for none but the purified persons [i.e. clean from idolatry] are to touch it. Go and take a bath and get yourself purified". He did so, returned and Fatimah gave him the Qur'an.
@Hadithoftheday Ta-Ha. We have not sent down the Quran to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress, But only as an admonition to those who fear Allah (Qur'an 20:1-3)

He was astounded. It was as if the Qur'an was addressing him directly!
@Hadithoftheday He continued reading, and verse after verse, the light of the Qur'an penetrated his heart with its undeniable truth. He read verses 1-8 and 14-16 of Surat Taha, and when he was done, his sense of justice could no longer deny the truth of the Message.
@Hadithoftheday Unbeknownst to him, the Prophet ﷺ had also made a dua for this occasion - reported by Ibn Umar RA, the Prophet ﷺ said "O Allah, help Islam with one of the two men that is more beloved to You: Abu Jahl or 'Umar ibn Al-Khattab. And the more beloved of the two to him was Umar."
@Hadithoftheday Umar kissed the document (it is reported that the verses were written on a piece of leaf) and said "It is not proper that the One Who has sent down these Holy Verses should have a partner to be worshipped with Him. Guide me to the place where Muhammad ﷺ is present now .
@Hadithoftheday He then went straight to the house of the Prophet ﷺ. Once he was admitted in the house, the Prophet ﷺ asked him for the reason of his visit.
@Hadithoftheday Umar replied: "O Messenger of Allah, I have come to you in order to believe in Allah& His Messenger and that which he has brought from his Lord." Upon hearing this, the Prophet ﷺ & the Companions shouted with elation "Allahu Akbar" so loudly that it could be heard at the Kaabah!
@Hadithoftheday Truly Allah guides whom He loves.

Hamzah R.A, and Umar R.A were main supporters of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in Makkah.
Hamza R.A was distinguished character with a keen sense of justice and known as the protector of the weak and the persecuted.+
@Hadithoftheday Hamzah R.A provided invaluable assistance to the Muslim ummah in the protection and spread of Islam and the fight against idolaters.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ called Hamza ibn Abdul-Muttalib R.A as ‘Asadullah’ (The Lion of Allah) for his personal valour and martial art.
@Hadithoftheday When the idolaters learned that Hamza R.A adopted Islam, they stopped openly attacking Muslims, fearing retribution from new member of the ummah. Hamza RA,whom everyone in Mecca feared,carried out his service honourably & unfalteringly to the very end,as a brave defender of Islam
@Hadithoftheday After Umar Ibn Al Khattab R.A accepted Islam, Muslims began to Pray Publicly.
Within days, Umar lead a procession of Muslims to the house of Allah where they prayed openly.
It was on this occasion that Muhammad ﷺ gave him the nickname Al Farooq.
@Hadithoftheday The following day all the Muslims emerged from the house of Arqam and proceeded to the Ka'bah, in two lines, one led by Umar R.A, and the other by Hamzah R.A. At the Ka'bah the Muslims prayed openly.
@Hadithoftheday The Quraish watched the Muslims pray and said, "Verily by the conversion of Umar R.A to Islam, the Muslims have taken the revenge from the Quraish".

Ayyub A.S was a Prophet of Allah from the descendant of Ibrahim A.S
He was blessed with everything that a man can desire in this world;good health,family & plenty of wealth,But he suddenly lost them all as a test from Allah
Allah had granted Ayoub A.S great wealth in the form of lands, herds and servants, and he had a devoted family. With all that, he was a humble man of great piety, constantly glorifying and devoutly thanking his Lord.

Allah then tested him with a series of calamities.
Allah first tested Ayyub A.S by suddenly stripping away all his wealth and property. But Ayyub A.S remained firm and constant, not shattered or even shaken by this disaster, and continued to glorify his Lord.

@Hadithoftheday Burāq.
Prophet ﷺ was sleeping in his room & Jibrael A.S came & woke him up & led him to white beast named as “Buraq".
Buraq is described as being between a mule and a donkey. Its speed was such that its hooves would touch where its eyes gazed.
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an :
"Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing."
(Quran. Al-Israa 17: Verse 1)
@Hadithoftheday Prophet ﷺ mounted on buraq & began to fly towards Quds.

Buraq bore Prophet ﷺ on its back and in an instant transported him to Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem, a journey that at the time took weeks overland. There, at Quds, the Prophet ﷺ led all the Prophets in prayer.

@Hadithoftheday Umayyah ibn Khalaf.
When Umayyah heard about Bilal reverting to Islam, he tortured him & forced him to relinquish the Islam.
But filled with love of Muhammad ﷺ & Islam, Bilal remained steadfast despite extreme torture and kept saying “Ahad, Ahad.” (Allah is One, Allah is One)
@Hadithoftheday Umayyah ibn Khalaf was the head of Banu Jumah tribe of Quraysh.

Bilal R.A suffered terribly after accepting Islam.
Umayyah used all sorts of torture on Bilal R.A to make him change his mind. But Bilal R.A remained firm.
Umayyah ibn Khalaf was killed in the Battle of Badr.
@Hadithoftheday When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ learned about his tribulation, he sent Abu Bakr R.A, who bought him from the oppressor and freed him. The freedom was Islam’s first gift to Bilal. Second Caliph Umar ibn Khattab R.A honored him by calling him as Sayyedna (our leader)
