Ayyub A.S was a Prophet of Allah from the descendant of Ibrahim A.S
He was blessed with everything that a man can desire in this world;good health,family & plenty of wealth,But he suddenly lost them all as a test from Allah
Allah had granted Ayoub A.S great wealth in the form of lands, herds and servants, and he had a devoted family. With all that, he was a humble man of great piety, constantly glorifying and devoutly thanking his Lord.
Allah then tested him with a series of calamities.
Allah first tested Ayyub A.S by suddenly stripping away all his wealth and property. But Ayyub A.S remained firm and constant, not shattered or even shaken by this disaster, and continued to glorify his Lord.
Allah then took the lives of Ayyub A.S's many children. This too did not change him, and he continued to be steadfast in service and devotion to his Lord. Ayyub A.S was a patient man. His patience is Exampelary.
Allah then took away his health, afflicting him with terrible pain and suffering, and such loathsome ailments that people shunned him. Still Ayyub A.S's faith and serenity remained undisturbed, for his heart was with Allah.
Prophet Ayoub A.S was a man who lost everything - his children, wealth and his health, but he never lost his faith on Allah.
Ayyub A.S disease lasted so long that his companions left him and visitors were disgusted by him. They expelled him from his city and threw him onto a refuse heap outside the city, and people abandoned him and boycotted him. No one remained sympathetic to him except his wife.
Wife of Ayoub A.S would care for him and always recall his earlier good treatment of her and his love of her.
Ibn kathir Narrates:
โSo she nursed him and looked after his welfare and helped him to fulfil his needs and stood by him.
His condition deteriorated and her money decreased to the point at which she served people for wages to feed him and provide for his other needs, may Allah be pleased with her, and she was very patient with all that occurred as their wealth and children were taken away from them
In addition to the calamity of her husband, she suffered from lack of means, and was obliged to serve people after having had wealth and happiness and servants and honour.
Ayyub A.S remained in his trial for many years.
Some claim his illness lasted three years, others claim seven years, and others claim eighteen years but Allah knows best.
One day, Allah removed his affliction from him & he was as sound as he had been previously. When his wife saw him she said, โMay Allah bless you, have you seen the prophet of Allah who was ill here? & by Allah,I have not seen a man more similar to him when he was healthy than you
Ayyub A.S said, โIndeed, I am he!โ.
Allah says in Qur'an:
Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. (Qurโan 38:44)
In his suffering and loneliness, Ayyub A.S cried to Allah, saying,
"Indeed, adversity has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful." (Qurโan 21:83)
Allah accepted his prayer and removed his affliction.
Lesson: Patience & steadfastness.
May Allahโs best blessings and peace be upon this Patient Prophet Ayyub A.S.
Aameen

@Hadithoftheday Hamzah R.A.
Umar R.A accepted Islam three days after Hamzah R.A.
At that time the Muslims numbered were thirty-nine.
Umar R.A said:
"I remember that when I became Muslim, there were just thirty-nine men with the Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ, and I brought the number to forty.
@Hadithoftheday Umar Ibn Al Khattab R.A's acceptance of Islam is perhaps one of the most extraordinary.
As influence of Muhammad ๏ทบ grew, Umar R.A became increasingly resentful. +
@Hadithoftheday In the sixth year of the revelation, Umar R.A was appointed by a group of Quraish men to kill the Prophet ๏ทบ. He set out towards the Prophet ๏ทบ, sword in hand, ready to kill him.
Mus'ab ibn Umair R.A was a child of a rich family.From his childhood,he lived in luxuries of life.
Especially as a handsome young man,he was lavished with special love & attention
In fact,he was unique in his luxurious tastes
He wore the most costly clothes and changed them twice a day. His shoes used to be the costliest available at that time.
He was also fond of wearing fragrance. A whiff of his fragrance was enough for the people to know that Mus'ab is passing by.
With all that luxurious lifestyle, he was very intelligent and had an elegant personality with keen mind and mastery in eloquent speech. Because of these qualities, he was moving about among the influential circles of chiefs of Quraysh at a young age.
@Hadithoftheday Abyssinia/Habsha (Present day Ethiopia).
Abyssinia is known as the "Haven of the First Migration" of Muslims.
Abyssinia was a land where its king, Negus (Najashi) was renowed for justice and in whose land human rights were cherished.
@Hadithoftheday The severity of the persecution, insults, and torturous acts the polytheists inflicted upon the Muslims continued to increase and worsen each day. As a result, Makkah became an unbearable city for the Muslims to live in.
@Hadithoftheday The polytheists did not intend to forgo their cruel and inhumane behavior, either.
For that reason, one day our Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ told the Muslims, โYou might as well spread on the face of the Earth. Allah will bring you together once again.โ
@Hadithoftheday Burฤq.
Prophet ๏ทบ was sleeping in his room & Jibrael A.S came & woke him up & led him to white beast named as โBuraq".
Buraq is described as being between a mule and a donkey. Its speed was such that its hooves would touch where its eyes gazed.
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an :
"Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing."
(Quran. Al-Israa 17: Verse 1)
@Hadithoftheday Prophet ๏ทบ mounted on buraq & began to fly towards Quds.
Buraq bore Prophet ๏ทบ on its back and in an instant transported him to Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem, a journey that at the time took weeks overland. There, at Quds, the Prophet ๏ทบ led all the Prophets in prayer.
Sumayya R.A was the first Martyr of Islam & wife of Yasir R.A.
Yasir R.A was the 2nd Martyr of Islam.
Ammar R.A was Martyred in Battle of Siffin.
Summayya R.A was the 1st martyr of Islam.
Sayyidna Yasir R.A was the first man and overall the 2nd Martyr of Islam.
They were the parents of Ammar R.A.
The Yasir's family were the first โwhole familyโ to accept Islam (outside the family of Prophet ๏ทบ)
Yasir; his wife,Sumayya; & their son, Ammar; all three accepted Islam as soon as they heard the Call of the Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ
Ammar & his family were tormented so consistently that Prophet ๏ทบ would urge them to be patient by reminding them that they were destined for Paradise
@Hadithoftheday Umayyah ibn Khalaf.
When Umayyah heard about Bilal reverting to Islam, he tortured him & forced him to relinquish the Islam.
But filled with love of Muhammad ๏ทบ & Islam, Bilal remained steadfast despite extreme torture and kept saying โAhad, Ahad.โ (Allah is One, Allah is One)
@Hadithoftheday Umayyah ibn Khalaf was the head of Banu Jumah tribe of Quraysh.
Bilal R.A suffered terribly after accepting Islam.
Umayyah used all sorts of torture on Bilal R.A to make him change his mind. But Bilal R.A remained firm.
Umayyah ibn Khalaf was killed in the Battle of Badr.
@Hadithoftheday When the Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ learned about his tribulation, he sent Abu Bakr R.A, who bought him from the oppressor and freed him. The freedom was Islamโs first gift to Bilal. Second Caliph Umar ibn Khattab R.A honored him by calling him as Sayyedna (our leader)
