🚑 Week 2 Injury Thread 🚑

Full write up Tuesday with @TheFFBallers

My quick, concise thoughts on each injury + what we know now 👇
#49ers RB situation:

Trey Sermon: in concussion protocol

Elijah Mitchell: R shoulder injury, team believes is a "stinger type injury"; MRI tomorrow

Ja'Mycal Hasty: Ankle injury, to be evaluated more tomorrow. Severity currently unknown
#Browns Baker Mayfield

L shoulder dislocation: Returned to the game and was effective. Will be fine moving forward but is likely to require offseason labral repair surgery. If this was his R shoulder, he'd be done for the year
#Browns Jarvis Landry

L knee MCL sprain: MRI to be done tomorrow in order to determine severity. If mild, could return in a few weeks. If more severe, could require a 6-8 week absence
#Texans Tyrod Taylor

Hamstring strain: Already ruled out for TNF against Panthers. To be evaluated via MRI tomorrow
#Dolphins Tua Tagovailoa

Rib injury: X-rays reportedly negative for fracture but will be evaluated via MRI tomorrow. Even if this is described as "bruised ribs" this is extremely painful. Should be considered week to week
#Bears Andy Dalton

L knee injury: Bears reportedly do not believe ACL involved. Will know more after MRI tomorrow
#Steelers Diontae Johnson

R knee injury: No good video angles showing injury but concern for multi-week absence. MRI will tell the story
#Rams Darrell Henderson

Rib injury: Similar to Tua, we'll know more about severity after MRI tomorrow. Likely to be a pain tolerance issue moving forward
#Jaguars Laviska Shenault

L shoulder injury: No details at this time. To be evaluated tomorrow
#Colts Carson Wentz

R ankle sprain: No expecting a long term absence. Ankle will slowly swell/stiffen up over the course of a half hour or so after injury, making it difficult to return. Expect MRI tomorrow. Worth noting, this is not the same foot that had surgery
