🔵 Chelsea - Another great performance and win, massive game vs Man City in GW 6.
🟠 Wolves - Weak performance. A fair win for Brentford, up to Wolves to get back to it against Southampton.
🔴 Man Utd - Keep winning despite not playing extremely good 🤔
GW 5 Notes - Players 📝
🔵 Alonso - Another attacking return, is the left back spot his now?
⚪️ Raphinha - 8-pointer but still should have gotten much more. Keeps looking like a great FPL asset.
🟡 Sarr - 2 goals, Newcastle and Leeds coming up next 👀
GW 6 Fixture to target
🔴 MUN vs AVL
Man United, with 13 goals in 5 games, face Aston Villa at home in a game that should end with a win for The Red Devils. Ronaldo, Bruno and Greenwood are all captainable this GW.
GW 6 Player recommendation:
Ismaila Sarr scored twice against Norwich in GW 5 and with good upcoming fixtures, he’s a player you should be looking to bring in. Newcastle and Leeds, his GW 6 & 7 opponents rank 19th and 20th for xGC this season.
GW 6 Player to avoid:
Mason Mount may look like a great FPL asset for Chelsea’s fixture run, but Tuchel loves to rotate and Mount got subbed off at half time in GW 5. It’s also worth noting that he’s only averaged an xG of 0.15 per game this season, numbers that don’t impress.
GW 6 Worth consideration:
GW 7 and 8 include a lot of major fixture swings so if you want to keep your wildcard or have already played it, you need to make long term moves. Roll your transfer or move early for Chelsea assets despite the tough GW 6 fixture.
Ronaldo has recorded an xG of 3.32 in his first 2 PL games for Man Utd (Small sample size), which is very impressive. He has had 12 shots in the box and considering these stats, I do expect him to score again in GW 6
2) Mohamed Salah - 💰12.6
Fixture: BRE (A)
Salah is always a great captaincy choice, especially when facing a promoted side. However, it should be mentioned that Brentford only have averaged an xGC of 0.67 per game this season, indicating defensive stability.
3) Michail Antonio - 💰7.9
Fixture: LEE (A)
Only Newcastle are worse than Leeds defensively this season, judging by xGC. This presents a great opportunity for a fully rested Michail Antonio to grab another goal or two, making him a solid captaincy option.
GW 6 Captaincy - Differential
Sadio Mané - 💰11.9
Fixture: BRE (A)
Mané already has 4 goal involvements this season, despite missing 3 big chances. I’m aware that he’s not easy to bring in but if you own him, giving him the captaincy armband is a nice differential option.

Pros:
- Target fixture swings ✅
- Catch price rises and build team value ✅
- Get Ronaldo without taking hits ✅
- Opportunity to jump on value players ✅
- Get rid of failed punts/bad picks ✅
Cons:
- Can’t target GW 7/8 fixture swings as effectively ❌
- 3 GWs is a small sample size, so we might make bad decisions if we only base them on information from GW 1-3 ❌

Liverpool go up against Norwich in GW 1, which is a very clear fixture to target. This should end with a big win for Liverpool which makes Salah, Mané, Trent and possibly even Tsimikas being great FPL picks.
GW 1 Player recommendation:
Riyad Mahrez is always a superb FPL option when he plays, the issue is of course Pep’s tendency to rotate the winger. However, with multiple injuries in the squad and players that haven’t got a full pre season, Mahrez could see a lot more...
