DeWine announces initiatives: 1. Safety protection orders - allow people to get help for those who may be a danger to themselves or others, he says these include people with mental health challenges, alcohol or drug problems, violent tendencies "and have access to firearms"
He says authorities must be able to activate the criminal justice system when they find someone who's in danger, who's a danger to themselves or danger to others and have access to a gun.
