#SupremeCourt to shortly hear a plea challenging last minute changes to the syllabus for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG Super Speciality exam 2021 (NEET SS 2021) #NEET2021
Sr Adv Shyam Divan: there is urgency in this. We had circulated written submissions too.

Adv Gaurav Sharma for National Medical Commission : we will file a reply by next week
SC: We are now dealing with young doctors who will appear for super speciality exams. you notify the exams on July 23 and you change the syllabus by August 31. how can you do this
Sr Adv Maninder Singh: its a well-considered decision, it was going on for sometime, final approval was awaited. as soon we got the approval it was notified
Justice Chandrachud: why after exam notification? why cannot it be made from next year. students prepare for months for such exams. we will hear you but we are dissatisfied with the authorities. jusrt because you have power you are wielding power like this
SC: We are putting you on notice that if we are not satisfied we will pass strictures. If you can put your house into order and enforce the change from next year then its fine. If you pursue us then we can dismiss it too
Sr Adv Singh: Permit us to place us before you.

SC: Please speak to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to look at this. Dont treat these young doctors as football in this game of power.
SC: Hold a meeting of all three agencies and set your house in order. We cannot let the young doctors be at the mercy of the insensitive bureaucrats.
Justice BV Nagarathna: pattern of study is according to pattern of exams. if you change it suddenly then what will happen

Justice Chandrachud: You know CLAT, students prepare two years in advance as its of immense importance.
Justice Chandrachud: Please be open to strictures of supreme court if we are not agreeing with you//deal with young doctors with sensitivity. You cannot deal with their lives like this.

Justice BV Nagarathna: this does not look like a entrance but like a final exam
Justice Chandrachud: List on Monday and let the replies by filed by then

#SupremeCourt dismisses plea seeking implementation of National Health Policy. Justice DY Chandrachud observed that Petitioners in a #PublicInterestLitigation must do their homework and not leave the burden entirely on the State or Court otherwise Petitions should not be filed.
Justice DY Chandrachud: File a petition which has specific issues after studying the issue. Not this, you know, example of one person.

What is the source of knowledge? Can we give directions on an all-India basis with on example?

#SupremeCourt
Justice DY Chandrachud: You can’t just annex a report and just say okay, now you take charge. You must do your homework also in your Petition.

This is the problem with such petitions.
