How to find easy to rank keywords (based on domain age)
The premise of this method is simple:

Find young websites ranking for terms you want to rank for.

If a new-ish site with low authority can rank for a KW, so can do too with a more established site (probably).
1. Get URLs

Google a keyword you want to rank for.

Update search settings to show 100 results

Copy all page URLs
2. Get domain ages

Paste URLs into a bulk domain age checker.

There are lots of free tools available that all do mostly the same job.
3. Export results to sheet

Order domain age newest to oldest.

Now the fun begins...
4. Find new sites ranking well

Here's where you want to comb through to see which new sites are ranking well.

You want to find something like this, low DR suggests the keywords are easier to rank without links.
5. Dig in

Open up the site in Ahrefs Organic keywords:

Filter to see keywords in position 1 - 10 + order by traffic high to low.

Now you have a list of easy to rank keywords (that are also sending traffic) .
6. Rinse & repeat

Now go through the same process for all the newest sites.

By the end of the process, you should have a good list of easy to rank keywords.

Niche selection vs analysis paralysis, it's a fine line.

To avoid procrastinating when building content sites, I use a *very* simple checklist before I do anything. Image
My philosophy for building content sites:

Niche sites are places to experiment + generate additional income. I don't want to spend all my time building, managing or putting all my eggs in one basket.

I want to front load content, get it ranked, revisit + improve.
So based on that, here are the things I look for when deciding to build out a site.

AI content + display ads = 💰❓

Is this a profitable way to monetize niche sites? Here are my thoughts on whether AI content get you:

1️⃣ Traffic
2️⃣ Rankings
3️⃣ $$$
I've played around with AI content a little bit. I'm going to highlight ONE page I created with it.

What you need to know:

* published on 26th July
* 1100 words
* low comp keyword in low comp niche
* published on established site
* no links built
1️⃣ Traffic

So far, just that article has gained 278 pageviews. Ok numbers but nothing amazing.

So YES, AI content *can* generate traffic ✅ Image

How to build a content strategy in 15 minutes (ish)
Open up @ahrefs keyword explorer and add in a broad keyword or topic.
Add informational modifiers (how, what, why etc) to the *Include* toggle to filter your list (just make sure you select 'Any word')
