(referring to the Division Bench decision in Muhammed Shafi P &Anr v. National Investigation Agency, Kochi & Ors. relied on by the petitioners which is challenged before the Supreme Court)
Adv. Ambalapatta : No your honour, it hasn't come up yet. May we please have at least two more weeks time? Perhaps after Dusshera?
Justice Chandran : This has been posted so many times already? We can't keep adjourning. Also Dusherra is not a big thing here at least
Adv. Ambalappatta : This is the first time they can celebrate Dusherra after COVID and all... Date may be given on October 19
Justice Chandran : October 19 is a holiday for us and on 20th we have a matter with over 65 witnesses. We can post on October 22 nd. But NO MORE ADJOURNMENTS will be granted in this matter
