Tomorrow Shelley Thornton, the “Roe baby,” will give her first TV interview. Her mother, Jane Roe, was used as the plaintiff in Roe v Wade, but Jane never had the abortion. Shelley was spared—she was born before SCOTUS legalized her death. Instead, Jane placed her for adoption.
Shelley is a survivor. She is living, walking proof that abortion kills a human being. Yet her life —and the lives of millions are ignored by abortion advocates. The women who marched yesterday for “abortion rights” were marching for the deaths of babies.
Imagine the 60+ million Shelleys that haven’t survived because SCOTUS legalized their murders in 1973. These children had no voice. We must be their voice. Millions of future lives depend on us. It’s time for justice. It’s time to #OverturnRoe#RoeVWade
To “fight back” against Texas' bill that protects children with heartbeats, Pelosi is bringing the “Women’s Health Protection Act” to a vote in the House today
This is the most extreme pro-abortion legislation proposed at the federal level
Here's what it would do:
1) Codify Roe v. Wade into federal law, permitting abortion until 24 weeks for any reason
At this age, babies can feel the pain of having limbs torn off & skulls crushed
If she was born prematurely (or doctors performed a C-section/induced delivery) the baby could survive
2) Permit the killing of a child in the womb until full term —moments before birth—if the abortionist deems it needed for the “health” of the mother
This "health" category includes financial, emotional, social, and mental health, effectively permitting abortion for any reason.
BREAKING: At the request of abortion activists, @Google has just BANNED all of @LiveAction's pro-life ads, including those promoting the Abortion Pill Reversal treatment, a resource that has saved 2500 children to date.
RT!
.@Google has also banned the promotion of our Baby Olivia video, a medically accurate (& accredited by OBGYNs), lifelike animation of human development in the womb, citing “unreliable claims.”
This is the video banned from ads:
Unacceptable.
The now-banned Abortion Pill Reversal ads had been approved by @Google & running for over 4 months, spending over $170,000 & directing 100s of moms to the abortion pill reversal hotline
Abortion activists knew the ads were making a difference, so they had Google shut them down
Dr. Ronna Jurow, an ob-gyn who previously worked at Planned Parenthood and describes herself as "pro-choice," told Fox News Thursday that "there's no question" the fetus would be alive during tissue collection.
"It was repulsive to watch live fetuses being packed in ice while still moving and trying to breathe and move, then being rushed to some laboratory and hear a medical student later discuss the experience of examining various organs of a once-live baby."
THREAD: This is the most important abortion related case in years. We are long overdue for the SCOTUS to revisit Roe v. Wade & PP v. Casey—cases that have led to the death of over 60 million innocent children & led many women & men to lifelong regret. cnbc.com/2021/05/17/sup…
The Supreme Court must acknowledge what science has long revealed: that a unique and individual human life begins at the moment of fertilization. They must recognize that the arbitrary line of viability is an ever changing goalpost as science and technology advance,
and a child’s ability to survive outside the womb should not determine his or her humanity or right to not be murdered in a violent abortion. Every child, including a baby ‘pre-viability” should be protected from the horrors of abortion and the abortion industry.
Amy Coney Barrett is a brilliant lawyer, academic, jurist, and mother of 7 children.
I’ve already seen dozens of comments from “progressive" reporters and leaders attacking her faith, calling her a “handmaid,” questioning her adopted children, and even wondering how she...
...could possibly be a successful justice because she has 7 children.
When Barrett was going through nomination hearings for her position as a federal judge 3 years ago, my own Senator @SenFeinstein grilled her on her faith & said,
“The dogma lives loudly within you.”
She went on to explain that she found Barrett “controversial” because "women really recognize the value of finally being able to control our reproductive systems”
She is, of course, referring to abortion & Roe v Wade
That is her concern: Would Barrett want to undo Roe?
It’s crucial to understand forced sterilization in its historical and present-day context as a population control weapon, wielded by the powerful against the vulnerable. Low-income and minority women bear the brunt of this assault on human rights. Some things to know:
.@PPFA's founder, Margaret Sanger, advocated for forced sterilizations of the “unfit” — minority, low income, and disadvantaged women and girls.
Sanger wrote in her Birth Control Review that parents should “apply for babies as immigrants have to apply for visas.”
Planned Parenthood’s @PPFA advocacy for forced sterilization led to the decades-long practice of these brutal human rights violationsin the United States. In as late as 1968, North Carolina’s forcibly sterilized Black 14-year-old rape survivor Elaine Riddick.
