How To Land 11k Cleaning Contracts With Zero Marketing Dollars? š§µ
1/ This is a check I received from one of my largest customers, we do cleanings yearly for them.
Guess how much marketing dollars it cost me to acquire this customer.... $0...Yes, absolutely nothing.
This industry is FILLED with opportunities such as this.
2/ What I will break down may seem low level and I have talked about it before but I just believe people undervalue the opportunities that can be found and bootstrapped from nothing.
I honestly believe if you spent every day doing these two things you could scale so fast!
3/ The two ways I found my two largest customers -
1st: A cold email sent to them with multiple follows-ups
2nd: A cold DM message on Instagram with multiple follow-ups
4/ Let's break down the cold email first -
This customer is one of the largest Property Management companies in my city. They manage an insane amount of Short Term Rental units as well as Long Term Rentals.
5/ I simply looked them up on google, found their company email as well as found multiple members of the team on LinkedIn, and began cold emailing the company and messaging team members.
I keep my emails straight to the point, remember it's house cleaning it doesn't need to be
6/ rocket science, people just need to understand what you are offering within the first 2 sentences.
Ex. " Hello, ______ my name is ______. I am the owner of ABC House Cleaning. We are offering services in ___________.
7/ We understand you have a large management portfolio and we would love the opportunity to be your "goto" cleaning service vendor. We have a team of _______, we are reliable, and can handle the volume levels you would require."
8/ Send it... wait a couple of business days and then follow up again. If you want you can even use some great email campaign providers to put leads like this on sequence chains and make it mindless.
Will you get a reply or hit right away?
NO, but you have planted a seed and
9/ that's all that matters. This is bootstrap marketing for $0....it costs you nothing except your time and the potential of landing a whale of a customer is so large... trust me it's worth your time.
Now go and do that for every single Property Management in your city.
10/ Next, Instagram.
Every realtor and their brother or sister LOVES Instagram. Especially the age bracket of 20-40. These realtors every day are posting transaction closing pictures flexing their HUGE closings trying to market themselves.
These are literally free leads...
11/ I want you to create a business Instagram page and begin finding and following every realtor in your location you can find.
I recommend jumping between people's followers, all of these realtors are friends and they LOVE to refer businesses and vendors they use to each other
12/ Send every realtor you can find(you can also do this for property managers) a DM. The DM should be straight to the point within 2 sentences similar to the cold email.
13/ Ex. "Hello, ______ my name is ______. I am the owner of ABC House Cleaning. We are offering services in ___________. Are you interested in house cleaning services? We have been following you and wanted to give you a HUGE congratulations on all of the closings."
14/ Send it
Follow up with them in a couple of days. (Avoid being too spammy on Instagram as the last thing you want is to get banned or blocked.)
The seed has been planted and remember this is a numbers game when we are talking about cold message marketing like this.
15/ The conclusions of all of this should be.... the demand and opportunity in this space are endless.
The opportunities can be found with as little as $0, and you have the potential to land HUGE customers.
16/ These customers manage millions in real estate as well as handle hundreds of transactions and have connections throughout your entire city.
Property Managers and Realtors are your "whale' customers in the residential cleaning industry.
Wednesday I am releasing another couple hours worth of videos in course content.
$99 for unlimited access to content is a HUGE bargain. šÆšÆ
I launched a house cleaning company almost right out of college.
In 1 year I was able to grow it to grossing almost 20k a month from pure hard work, great customer communication, and being resourceful.
Let me help you! š§µ
1/ It's less complicated than you think but it does require some hard work and grit.
So let's say you're broke and have no idea what you want to do but you are willing to work hard and be resourceful.
The first thing on your mind should be MONEY.
2/ Without money, you really can't do anything.
Sad but true.....
We need a super low barrier to entry industry that's outdated and you can easily jump in and capture market share fast with some great software and good customer service.
Why would anyone ever be interested in property management?
What a weird thing to be interested in...
Aren't you worried about the headaches? The late-night phone calls?
No...let me break this down for you. š§µ
1/ All businesses have headaches..... I just don't mind the headaches with industries that have very high potential revenue numbers with high net margins and very little expenses.
And that's exactly what property management is.
I am talking specifically about...
2/ the management of short-term rentals (Under 30-day stays).
I am not interested in the long-term, multi-unit, and large HOA/strata type complexes that require large labor leverage and management.
I am interested in short-term guests staying in...
