I had planned on a thread discussing Johnston's antics yesterday, but Pat King's continued descent into sovereign citizen woo sort of preoccupied my time. 2/
In any case, prior to appearing on the bed of a truck on Stephen Ave promoting his fringe mayoral campaign, he was on the bed of a truck outside Artur Pawlowski's cult compound.
Here are the lowlights. 3/
Snipers? 4/
Kevin Johnston is the smartedest man in history! 5/
Could you make yourself appear any MORE creepy? 6/
Kijiji also wants to grift in the United States. 7/
Health mandates = treason and war crimes. 8/
Racism didn't exist in Canada until 2015 apparently. 9/
Kevin Johnston predicts violence if he doesn't win which, he perhaps doesn't realizes, says a great deal about his supporters if true. And that isn't good. 10/
"Everything I don't like or understand is communism" 11/
Yeah... I don't think I wans to learn my science from Kijiji.
He also tells us his price. 12/
Just kidding! He TOTALLY doesn't have a price!
READ: He TOTALLY has a price. 13/
In reality, the entirety of Kevin J. Johnston can be summed up in these 40 seconds. 14/
And when he finally comes out, Artur shows Kijiji some love and endorses his mayoral run which is another knock me over with a feather moment (you think a lonely tear fell down Larry Heather's face when he heard this?) 15/
Now all of this is pretty standard, however Kijiji did catch an exchange that I want to focus more attention on when he was on Stephen Ave.
Long story short, Dawid Pawlowski has a very short fuse. 16/
Prior to this incident, Dawid was promoting is run for city council.
There is a lot to unpack here.
Dangerous vaccine misinformation.
Anti-Semitic and Islamophobic tropes (Soros, Globalists, Aga Khan).
Praising nationalism that "protects our borders." 17/
His language, describing the government and health officials as "murderers" is bordering on stochastic terrorism though I could be convinced that he crosses the line here. 18/
In fact he hits on a lot of the conspiracy theories which he promotes as truth. 19/
He urges people NOT to get vaccinated with what he describes as poison. 20/
He does have time to chat briefly with who appears to be Rob Anders. 21/
And we learn that getting kicked out of Girl Guides for not abiding by the rules is communism because everything is communism apparently. 22/
But what might be most concerning is his interaction with others as he seems to be spoiling for a fight.
Here he is with the city workers again. It appears that while working one accidently blew soil in Dawid's direction. Dawid takes it as a personal affront. 23/
That's not the only encounter.
The good Christian also harasses a couple in particularly disgusting manner. 24/
He also harasses restaurant patrons and who looks to be an employee.
Notice Dawid's not-so-subtle dig questioning the man's citizenship. 25/
This echoes statements made during Artur's sermon the same day. 26/
He originally lost the defamation suit in 2019, but since then continued to defame the victim, ridicule the courts, and openly state he will never pay any judgement. 3/22
I'll add clips as I cut from the original video, but suffice it to say he lies about why he was convicted (claims because he told the truth; he is in fact a liar) and everything is communism. 2/
Claiming that an 18 month sentence makes a "public spectacle of the courts" and that it won't cause people to comply with the courts, Kevin says he needs to raise $20,000 to appeal the sentence. 3/
Kevin Johnston was sentenced to 18 months in jail back in Ontario for contempt starting January 4, 2022. I hope that @mohamadfakih8 and his family will be able to rest a bit easier as a result. 2/8
People who followed ARC when I was working on the blog, as well as those who found other sources, know all too well the kind of person Kijiji is and his campaigns of harassment. Here is one case in point. 3/8
So, we know the origins of Pat's billion dollar lien scam. Looks like he has jumped into the sovereign citizen woo with both feet. We knew that this was the case based on his video with angry Duke Willis, but he is in deeper than I thought. 1/
As the election unfolded and it became increasingly apparent that the Liberals would win a third mandate (and second minority) the online rhetoric turned inevitably to claiming the election was rigged. 1/
In fact the claim the election had been rigged preceded this election and had already been retconned to explain the Liberal win in 2019 and the majority it won in 2015. 2/
The "rigged election" mantra existed before in these circles but really took off in Canada in large part to the "Big Lie" that Donald Trump was cheated out the win in the 2020 presidential race. 3/
