A lot of my newer followers would just know me as the guy who tweets a lot about house cleaning and STR Management.
Yes, that is true....but here is some background about me!
👇👇👇👇
1/ I am a Canadian born and raised, I grew up on the west coast of Canada in a town with a population of around 30-40k.
I grew up playing Hockey and Lacrosse and ended up getting recruited to go play Lacrosse at an NCAA DII school in North Carolina.
2/ I did 4 years of undergrad getting a BA in Business and IMS.
I graduated and really had no idea what I was interested in or what I wanted to do with my life. My girlfriend at the times mother worked at Redfin so
3/ I moved to a smaller town just outside Philadelphia, PA to work as a realtor for Redfin corp for 1.5-2 years.
While I was working as a realtor I always remember thinking - I want to start my own business.
4/ I have no idea what industry I was interested in and really had no idea what I was doing but I did know my parents owned and operated a commercial cleaning business when I was younger. I had been around cleaning since I was in diapers...
5/ I thought "screw it, I'll start a cleaning business." But I did not want to do a commercial I wanted to try out residential. I then launched a cleaning company in my home town being 100% remote living in PA.
6/ (Why did I do this? I knew my hometown better than PA at the time, so I thought it made sense.)
After 1 year we grossed around 120k with net margins of 30%. I knew I was onto something...
I then came back home after my work visa ended and began
7/ working my ass off to grow the cleaning business as fast as possible. We got up to around 25-35 appointments per week.
While my business was running I then decided to pick up a day job (dumb of me, looking back now. I was simply money hungry and not thinking.)
8/ I started a sales position selling property data. So I was now running a business, and working a full-time sales job.
After about 11 months I decided to quit my sales job and go 100% into my cleaning business again, lol. We then had one of the largest growth years ever.
9/ We went from 25-35 appointments a week to 50-55 appointments and we almost doubled monthly revenue.
This brings me to today. I am now living in a city near my hometown and growing a cleaning business and soon to be launching an STR Management company with 2 other co-founders.
10/ I really am excited about the future and what it holds for myself and my businesses.
I have some HUGE goals with this STR Management business and I truly believe it will take me to the next level in wealth and in general life.
11/ I appreciate everyone following my journey so far and I'll continue to grow in public and share as much value as I can with you all!

$40-45k/Month Gross Rent - Collecting 25%!! THAT is what I was missing out on!
🧵
1/ I never realized how many opportunities were in the STR Management space.
Are the rates and demand 100% in correlation with the location I'm in? YES. I am fortunate with my location.
BUT I honestly believe that you have the ability to do this in most cities.
2/ I came to this conclusion by cleaning many different vacation rentals. In an average summer, we do around 20-30 vacation rental cleaning turnovers in a week.
I started noticing that we were handling a ton of the management...
How To Land 11k Cleaning Contracts With Zero Marketing Dollars? 🧵
1/ This is a check I received from one of my largest customers, we do cleanings yearly for them.
Guess how much marketing dollars it cost me to acquire this customer.... $0...Yes, absolutely nothing.
This industry is FILLED with opportunities such as this.
2/ What I will break down may seem low level and I have talked about it before but I just believe people undervalue the opportunities that can be found and bootstrapped from nothing.
I honestly believe if you spent every day doing these two things you could scale so fast!
I launched a house cleaning company almost right out of college.
In 1 year I was able to grow it to grossing almost 20k a month from pure hard work, great customer communication, and being resourceful.
Let me help you! 🧵
1/ It's less complicated than you think but it does require some hard work and grit.
So let's say you're broke and have no idea what you want to do but you are willing to work hard and be resourceful.
The first thing on your mind should be MONEY.
2/ Without money, you really can't do anything.
Sad but true.....
We need a super low barrier to entry industry that's outdated and you can easily jump in and capture market share fast with some great software and good customer service.
Why would anyone ever be interested in property management?
What a weird thing to be interested in...
Aren't you worried about the headaches? The late-night phone calls?
No...let me break this down for you. 🧵
1/ All businesses have headaches..... I just don't mind the headaches with industries that have very high potential revenue numbers with high net margins and very little expenses.
And that's exactly what property management is.
I am talking specifically about...
2/ the management of short-term rentals (Under 30-day stays).
I am not interested in the long-term, multi-unit, and large HOA/strata type complexes that require large labor leverage and management.
I am interested in short-term guests staying in...
