I was asked why do I believe ๐๐ค๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ค๐ค๐ (๐๐) will be listing $SHIB of all the #dogecoin copycat meme tokens?
... a thread ๐งต
It's quite simple: 1) If you understand how RH makes money, which is ๐ฉ๐๐ฒ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐ซ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ (๐๐ ๐๐ ). Here's how it works:
2โฃ A broker sends a commission-free retail trade to a wholesaler or market maker instead of sending trades to the traditional stock exchanges bc market makers say they can provide better prices.
I was once a ๐ถ๐ช๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐ฝ ๐ถ๐ช๐ด๐ฎ๐ป and there is ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ illegal about this.
3โฃ So, how does RH really make money? PFOF is the compensation. Pays as much as 1 penny/share, which RH can receive from a market maker in exchange for routing trades to that market maker. It is a controversial practice that has been called a "kickback".
Kickbacks in America!๐
4โฃUnlike #Coinbase where they charge a COMMISSION (fee) PER TRADE AMOUNT, RH strategically chose the ZERO commission/fee approach. ๐
But you see, RH makes on the PER SHARE (or per token) vs CB makes on PER DOLLAR/TRADE AMOUNT.

5โฃ Example:
RH - 100,000,000 $SHIB at a HALF of a HALF of A PENNY PER TOKEN for ๐๐ ๐๐ = ๐ฑ
vs.
CB - 100,000,000 $SHIB at $ 0.000030 = $3,000 trade
CB youโll pay a fee of 3.99% for $3K = $119.70
Who do you think will make more money on this trade? ๐ค
6โฃ So, Why $SHIB of all the meme coins?
It has already been tested on #Coinbase as I'm sure CB & RH are each other's biggest competitor as both are publicly traded.
