I just don’t understand how a breast cancer awareness campaign on the Internet of all places could result in sexualization of women to the detriment of critical public health information

I mean it’s the Internet is nothing sacred

Breast cancer awareness matters - and that’s why #NoBraDay pisses me off.

Don’t act surprised about sexualized hashtag hijacking unless you seriously think “dick pics for prostate cancer awareness” is also a good idea patriarchal society would welcome.
