A fitting send off in a place close to Matt’s heart, surrounded by those with whom he served, who loved & respected him. But seeing him lose his final battle, after winning so many others, is a tragic reminder that trauma doesn’t discriminate. Please don’t suffer in silence. #RIP

…a chestful of medals, professional accolades or national recognition mean nothing to those struggling with their mental health. We must eradicate the stigma of suffering from or seeking help for mental health challenges. If this is you, you’re absolutely NOT a burden.
