This is a thread is an introduction to @KlimaDAO and a step-by-step guide on how to buy $KLIMA on October 18th, 2021 or after.
To scroll down to the actual guide, click on this tweet and scroll down to the tweet that starts with “STEPS”.
Introduction:

$KLIMA is the official crypto of Kilma DAO, which is a decentralized autonomous organization that aims to improve the efficiency of carbon markets and therefore prevent the negative effects of global warming.
Kilma DAO is similar to Olympus DAO and Wonderland DAO in DeFi concept and structure.
Klima DAO aims to bridge the gap between blockchain technology and the carbon market. The carbon market is a place where government organizations, businesses and investors can purchase and sell carbon allowances to each other.
Carbon emission allowances of greenhouse gases are capped in individual countries by law and also by the Paris Climate Accords to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The carbon markets trade carbon offsets. Carbon offsets are leveraged by Klima DAO and help to limit carbon emissions while rewarding projects and organizations that remove carbon from the atmosphere.
Businesses and organizations purchase carbon offsets to “offset” potential harmful environmental impacts of their carbon emissions.
One carbon offset unit is equal to the removal of one tonne of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Klima DAO is similar to Olympus DAO. Just like $OHM is backed by $DAI stable coin and $TIME is backed by $MIM stable coin, $KLIMA is backed by tokenized carbon offset units.
KLIMA DAO aims to be the center of the crypto carbon economy. The TCT, or Tokenized Carbon Tonne, is itself an ERC 20 token. KLIMA will be used to govern the KLIMA DAO protocol.
Many expect carbon offset prices to increase and increasingly incentivize people to form initiatives to reduce carbon emissions.
This is where the Klima DAO comes in, to speed up this carbon price and overall carbon market increase through DeFi principles by making the carbon market more efficient as a whole.
STEPS to Buying KLIMA:
1) Have your Metamask Wallet set up and ready to go.
2) You can buy either the Ethereum Network version of MATIC or directly buy the Polygon Network version of Matic, depending on where you buy it from. On Coinbase, you will be buying the ETH version of MATIC.
On Kucoin, you can buy MATIC and then choose to transfer it directly through the Polygon Network (When withdrawing MATIC from Kucoin, click the arrow next to “Network:”, scroll down to MATIC, and click it).
From my experience, it was much cheaper and faster to buy it on Kucoin and withdraw it from there. But Kucoin may or may not be working well at the time you buy, so you have to choose the method that works best for you.
If you are buying and sending MATIC directly though the Polygon network from a place like Kucoin, skip to step 4. If you are buying the ETH version of MATIC first, then go to step 3 first.
3) On your Metamask Wallet, make sure you are on your Ethereum Mainnet network first (as indicated in the top right corner. Scroll down to the bottom of your Assets screen and click “Import Tokens”.
Under Search, start typing in “Matic Network Token” and MATIC should pop up. Click “next” and “Import Token.”
4) Add the Polygon Network to your Metamask Wallet. Click on the tab that says “Main Ethereum Network”. Scroll down to “Custom RPC” and click it. Get ready to enter in the correct settings.
Note: Twitter will not let me add "https://" to a link so refer to the screenshot below or visit

medium.com/stakingbits/se…

for the correct URL addresses to copy and paste.
Click “save” to finish adding the Polygon network to Metamask.
5) If you bought MATIC through Kucoin, choose MATIC network when withdrawing your MATIC and your MATIC should show up in the Polygon network section of your Metamask Wallet.
6) If you bought an Ethereum Version of MATIC at place like Coinbase, go to wallet.polygon.technology. And go to step 7.
If you already have the MATIC in the Polygon section of your wallet, then skip to step 12.
7) Click “Polygon Wallet”

8) You may be prompted to connect with your Metamask Wallet if this is your first time doing so. Click Metamask, and sign the prompt. If you have a Ledger, don’t forget to authorize the sign on the Ledger as well.
9) Find Matic Token on the Asset list and scroll across to the right to the “Deposit” button. Click it.
10) You will be brought to the Polygon Bridge. Click “Max” or enter the number of Matic tokens you wish to transfer from the Ethereum to Polygon Network. Click “Transfer” at the bottom.
11) You will have to complete 2 separate transactions: “Approve” and “Confirmed” and both cost a decent chunk of money so be ready to pay. I paid about $65 total for both transactions when the GWEI was 64.
12) When you have your MATIC in the Polygon network of your Metamask wallet, now you are ready to buy $KLIMA. Go to app.sushi.com/swap
13) Change the network listed on the top right to “Polygon”. It should be listed as Ethereum. Click on it and change to Polygon.
14) Click on “Select a token” and type in Kilma. If it doesn’t show up, here is the contract address to be copied and pasted into the field:

0x4e78011ce80ee02d2c3e649fb657e45898257815
15) Complete the transaction. Leave a few Matic for transaction fees for staking on the Klima DAO website. Now you have Klima in your wallet.
16) Go to dapp.klimadao.finance/#/stake and connect your Metamask Wallet. Click “Connect Wallet” and connect your Metamask Wallet. Make sure your network setting for this website is on “Polygon Network”.
17) Click “Stake KLIMA” and Stake your Klima!
18) More steps may be added to this thread on the day of the KLIMA token and KLIMA App launch, if necessary. Until then, study this guide and buy some $MATIC to get ready for 10-18-21.
19) If you feel this guide and other guides or Twitter posts of mine helped you, please consider donating to my zil address: takegreenpill.zil

It takes a lot of time to put these together and any amount frees up more of my time so I can put out more and better content!
Donations are completely optional of course. ✊✊✊
And by Zil I mean $Zil @Zilliqa #Zilliqa

It's very easy to make a Zil wallet: @pay_zil

zilpay.io

Available for browser extensions for Firefox, Google, Brave Browser, etc.

You can buy Zilliqa on many different exchanges.
You can copy and paste takegreenpill.zil in the address bar when you are sending Zil and my Zil address will show up! 🙏😎. Gas fees are dirt cheap on Zil, that's why I chose a Zilliqa address for my first donation address, to make it easier for everyone else.
Note: I am hearing that when you get to the Sushiswap on Polygon network stage: it might be beneficial to swap from MATIC to USDC first before the launch time and then to KLIMA at launch to help reduce slippage of your transaction. Because many people will be buying at once.
20) Nothing in this guide is financial advice!
21) REMEMBER to double check that the contract address I posted in this guide for $klima fits the exact one that @KlimaDAO releases!! ALWAYS good to double check. Always the potential of scams in crypto so BE CAREFUL.

This thread is a summary and some thoughts on the recent interview with @tacticalinvest_ and @WithoutTheRope on @Strongblock_io, which was fascinating. More insight on the new coming $STRONG rewards protocol was revealed.
David referenced @DiemAssociation (blockchain project by the one and only Facebook) as using a rewards system or rewards pool that is made up of a "basket" of different cryptos. He hinted that the coming $STRONG rewards protocol will be based on this model.
David stated that this basket of rewards would be financially backed by different revenue sources: from running validators, from running other nodes, from Eth 2.0 rewards from Eth nodes, etc.

This thread is a guide to staking $GZIL tokens on the Pillar Protocol (@devpillar) for Passive Income. The Pillar Protocol is on the @Zilliqa blockchain. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know from the beginning if you are new to Zilliqa.
$GZIL is the governance token of #Zilliqa. Zilliqa is a completely scalable blockchain. Its ecosystem and use case is similar to Ethereum in many ways. The main difference is that on Zilliqa, you pay pennies in gas fees compared to Eth gas fees.
A bridge between $Zil and $Eth has been created so people can transfer ERC & ZRC tokens and Apps between the 2 blockchains.
