I hate to break this to you, but nothing you or I say on this platform will stop Trump from becoming the 2024 GOP nominee. I know Twitter creates an illusion of intimacy, but it’s really not up to us.

“It’s all a grift” is simplistic, & overly reductive of the threat Trump poses to our republic. I do not believe he’s just holding rallies to bilk his followers; I believe he fully intends to follow through with another White House run.

8. “Trumpers are only refusing vaccines to sabotage Biden!”
This logic makes no sense to me, as Trump’s base behaved exactly the same way when their guy was in charge. They fought tooth & nail against masks & social distancing, & still treated COVID like it was (mostly) a hoax.

Okay, I do get this one. QAnon & Infowars conspiracy theories are now fully integrated into the mainstream of the GOP.
But this only registers visually: “GQP” does not work phonetically. (And I guess I “hear” the words in my head as I read them.) So, a no from me.

Nope; sorry. Baby talk rubs me the wrong way under the best of circumstances, and I don’t understand why it would be any more appropriate when describing white-nationalist menace Tucker Carlson. (“Because it’s annoying! 😂 LOL!” is not a valid reason.)

This is often a retort to criticism of the Democrats’ timidity & predilection for preemptive compromise. It comes across as nannying.
I do not believe Dems are above criticism, nor that their public standing is affected much by our comments on Twitter.

Maybe this is sort of a cheat, because the only people I hear complaining about the so-called KHive are disgruntled leftists who never cared for Biden. These tend to be the same people who use term “girlboss” in a condescending & sexist way.
