This is a special post. I put together photos of Molly on all her birthdays here on Earth. Thank you all for seeing Molly, for loving her, although most of you never met her. Molly and I are just getting started changing the world together🙏. #TEAMMOLLY #HBDMolly
These are from Molly’s first and second birthdays. Our cat, Ellie, always slept in Jon’s dresser drawer. Molly delighted in finding her there. You’ll notice a theme in all these photos - Molly thoroughly enjoyed her birthday cakes 🎂. Please indulge in something sweet today 😋.
This is three and four. I vividly remember Molly getting up and singing Twinkle Twinkle ⭐️ into the mic at her fourth birthday party. She was so earnest and sincere. Pure love radiated from her in those moments.
Five and six. Her sixth birthday party was at a cake decorating place, where everyone got to decorate their own cakes with every color frosting and topping imaginable. So much fun.
Seven and eight. Seven was at Disneyland and eight was Color Me Mine. She loved this picture of her being silly in the middle of all her friends.
Nine and ten. I had surgery right before Molly’s ninth birthday. Jon took Molly, Nate and their friend, Jensen, to the Santa Monica pier 🎡. Ten was our epic trip to Chicago to see @HamiltonMusical. We also went wakeboarding and to the movies with Eme 🍿. Somehow 9 is after 10 🤷‍♀️
Eleven and twelve. 11 was strange because we were evacuated due to wildfire. I picked the kids up at school and took them to the movies because the road to our house was closed. 12 was during the height of the pandemic. I’m glad I made it special and decorated. I love you, Molly.
Ahh, I was wrong. Wakeboarding and movies with Eme was 11! The year of the wildfire with the big balloon bouquet below. Forgetting details about Molly’s life is so upsetting. I want to remember everything, and it’s impossible. I spent a long time trying to remember every birthday

This happens all the time now, and never used to before Molly passed.
I love this thread! The lamp is on my bedside table. As I’ve shared, nighttime is often unbearable. I picture Molly walking through the door, still wet from her shower and in her pjs, saying, “Mom, will you please come in my room and say goodnight to me?” That’s when it happens.
My car has inexplicably failed to start twice since M’s passing. It’s 2019, never had an issue, had it checked out both times, battery is 💯. No reason for it to fail to start. First was right after M’s funeral. G-d, it absolutely crushes me to even type “funeral” about my girl.

Today was supposed to be Molly’s bat mitzvah. It’s been too difficult to mention. #TEAMMOLLY Image
Thank you 🙏. You all are such a comfort. I’ll remind you as the day approaches, but I’d love for everyone to share Molly’s Aladdin video on her birthday (Thurs). She dreamed of being on the world stage. When people watch her sing, it feels like that dream is realized. #TEAMMOLLY
LA friends, please join us for a beach sound bath on Molly’s birthday. Friends and family are baking Molly’s fave chocolate cake this week. Anyone who donates to Molly’s Foundation or makes a purchase from the #TEAMMOLLY shop will receive the recipe. mollysteinsapir.com/blog/pz6365t04…

One of our fave pics of Molly, although Makena was afraid to show it to us 😂. They were joking about a teacher that caused stress. He didn’t understand Molly’s ADHD brain. M was so bright, but school was difficult, especially online. We made sure she KNEW she was amazing.
Molly was not “neurotypical” but I never worried about her future. I was her fierce advocate, making sure her gifts were not overlooked, getting extra support she needed. It was a struggle sometimes. Molly was often not an easy child to parent. She was fierce and independent!
I told Molly that her ADHD was her superpower. When her teacher made her feel bad about herself, we said he was the one who didn’t understand. We said that we all have to deal with challenging people sometimes, and they are here to teach us lessons.

Words are insufficient to describe our gratitude that this flag was flown over the U.S. Capitol in honor of Molly. @DrewNirenberg, the Nirenberg family and @SpeakerPelosi, we are humbled. As Justice Sotomayor said, Molly had the heart of a public servant. Thank you. #TEAMMOLLY
It’s been an emotional day. When this flag arrived, I broke down sobbing. @DrewNirenberg is the nephew of my friend who is actually family, @LeslieHelmer. @DrewNirenberg was invested in Molly’s story before he realized that his aunt is like a sister to me.
When Drew and his family learned of our connection, they wanted to do something special to honor Molly. Drew works on Capitol Hill. He contacted Speaker Pelosi’s office and explained what happened to Molly, arranging for this flag to be flown in her honor.

Eli’s birthday party was wonderful. He enjoyed every minute! It was a nice day for all. It wouldn’t have been possible without family and friends, including #TEAMMOLLY. My sister and sister-in-law did many things they knew I could not.
Since we built our house over a ago, it was the first time we’ve had a gathering, besides Molly’s shiva. I invited Eli’s small preschool class as the kids are together anyway. The adults have all been vaccinated. A glimpse of post-Covid normalcy!
Molly was with us. I’m learning that our loved ones on the other side use people on Earth, sometimes unknowingly, to deliver messages of their love. Through @MindsEye55 and @yenyen419, Molly sent a garbage truck for a surprise visit, balloons and sweets for the birthday boy.
