The one thing that scares Democrats more than COVID is Ron DeSantis.

That can’t not talk about him.

They want him to be Trump soooo badly. But he’s not.

DeSantis is better.
DeSantis pushes back against lies AND he knows what he’s talking about. AND he doesn’t make unforced errors like Trump did.
You may not like everything that DeSantis has done. Fine. We can disagree.

But so far, this dude is someone to vote FOR, not just a vote getter because you are voting AGAINST someone else.

It’s funny watching people defend Paternity Pete like he’s not a cabinet official.
If the Secretary of Transportation can be gone for 2 months in the middle of a crisis, they can be gone permanently and the department shuttered.

I give NeverTrump talking heads a lot of grief because of their treatment of President Trump and the Republican base.

But to be fair to them, they had some very legitimate points against Trump.
No, he did not have the temperament to president. He’s quick to anger and mockery. He’s reactionary to any slight or insult. He’s braggadocios, arrogant, and narcissistic.
He has no issue lying or threatening to get his way.
He was a lifelong NY Democrat who didn’t hold conservative values until he started running as a Republican.

Any media story that didn’t reflect upon him well was dismissed as “fake news” and he used people’s anger as a weapon against his opponents.

Seriously, if your take is "Fox made this news which made parents mad which caused threats which made the FBI go after them then Fox complained and it's all Fox's fault",

I remember when a woman with no proof, no memory, no dates, and no story was held up as a paragon of evidence and #MeToo raged.

I wonder what the Venn diagram is of NeverTrump and "you're an idiot if you don't get the vaccine" would look like.

I don't know that it's a circle, but I'd think it would be close.
They're the same people that swallowed the "suckers and losers" bit hook, line, and sinker without ever questioning it.

They have a history of questioning the reasons why someone says something, never taking it at face value.
Just a moment ago, I saw a comment about Kyrie.

"He's not giving up his career because he doesn't think he should be told what to do, even though that is what he says. He's really giving it up because ARGLE BARGLE I'M A MIND READER!!"
