The one thing that scares Democrats more than COVID is Ron DeSantis.

That can’t not talk about him.

They want him to be Trump soooo badly. But he’s not.

DeSantis is better.

DeSantis pushes back against lies AND he knows what he’s talking about. AND he doesn’t make unforced errors like Trump did.

You may not like everything that DeSantis has done. Fine. We can disagree.

But so far, this dude is someone to vote FOR, not just a vote getter because you are voting AGAINST someone else.

Before COVID, he was well liked by everyone, Rs and Ds alike.

During COVID, with the media’s one-sided reporting, the numbers haven’t looked great.

Until you get the real story.

DeSantis is really only unpopular on Twitter. I haven’t seen many signs or bumper stickers for any D governor candidates.

Florida is open. Business is booming. COVID is doing its seasonal thing and falling off.

Here’s how DeSantis is:

He promotes vaccines. They’re widely available.

But he knows not everyone wants to get them. So he promotes monoclonal treatments.

He’s rather let people decide than force them to bend to his will.

I don’t know if he’s going to run in 2024.

And by then, there may be more things I don’t like about him.

But from day 1, this dude has been a fantastic governor.

And that scares the Dems shitless.
