Learning is part of the core identity of a clinician. We equally need adaptability.

Learning to learn will require a greater initial investment, but will pay off in the long run. That's a good return! But when do we start paying into this investment system. I argue that waiting until residency is waiting too long!

We need to send "meta" messages to our learners. No longer is speed and efficiency the goal.

There is joy in the journey. We need to think #longterm instead of the quick dopamine hits we are used to attaining in our schooling
