Skills you need to learn to land a job paying anywhere between $38 - $170K (US Average).

These are must-have skills that you can learn and master in just six months, and that will undoubtedly help you land solid gigs and well-paying jobs :

🧵💎👇
1. Python 🐍:
Having Python in your arsenal will definitely help you in your career. Also according to TIOBE Index for October 2021 Python overtakes JavaScript for the first time in more than 20 years.
2. SQL 🗒️:
SQL is another must-know skill for any data analyst job or task. You'll have to keep dealing with the databases from time to time & it can be very useful. Also, you can use it in intext with Python to make your job easy. HackerRank is an amazing place to practice SQL.
3. Libraries 📦:
Some of the Python libraries you must know are :
Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly.

These libraries will help you improve your portfolio, and there are many free resources to help you learn them. So just google and start learning.
4. Tools ⚙️:
Every Data Analyst needs to learn these tools. I am mentioning some of the most widely used tools in the industry that you must know :

MS Excel, MS PowerBI, Tableau.

Learn these tools & practice them by making some good dashboards and projects.
-- The above 4 points sum up the technical knowledge required by people but that's not it, If you want to stand out from the crowd you need to practice and learn some soft skills too as it will take your Analyst game up to another level.
5. Softskills 🏂:

Soft skills include things like Presenting your findings in layman's terms so that anyone can understand them can greatly assist you in your development.

Skills like Critical thinking or thinking out of the box come with time & practice so just keep learning.
Data storytelling & visualizing your data from a different perspective will be a huge asset.
Furthermore, simply learning will not help you start your career, you must practice these skills &build a portfolio. I recommend learning in public. Try #100DaysOfCode for consistency.
I wrote this article in the past & maybe it can help you know what is being a Data Analyst & its significance.
