3 years back, I was frustrated when I wasn't getting thousands of views on Youtube or getting so many brand deals in my niche.
I realized that I can still use Youtube as a sales funnel to get leads for my consultation.
How?
NB: This is mostly for people in education/ info side of Youtube.
Step 1: Find a niche(s)
Youtube is a great search engine. Create searchable content in your niche. Look for problems and offer solutions. Teach. Share. Demosntrate.
Don't worry about niching down in some seasons. Look at what your audience needs. For example, I learned that my audience was interested in @Upwork tips.
Step 4: Include that in your videos. I.e.. If I am doing a blogging video, I always pitch my blogging consultations.
Share value, then ask.
Keep posting.
Become the authority for that topic.
Increase credibility.
(This is where the work is!)
Step 5: If your simple digital product garnered some interest/ sales, create a high ticket offer. Keep perfecting and learning.
This all takes time and looks different from person to person and niche to niche..
Step 6: Create an email list with all the people who interact with you. You can share a freebie and collect emails via forms.
Put your email in your videos.
The enquiries start coming in....
"hey, I saw your video on XYZ, please teach me how to ABCD"
Someone sending you an email/ DM already has their foot on the door.
Track your conversion rate. i.e.. You got 600 enquiries and sold to 50. Aim to increase your closing/ conversion rate.
Step 7: Post more videos that lead to your digital product(s). You can subtly mention it, include the link in the description box.
In short, don't be frustrated if you don't have 1000's of views to monetize your Youtube with adsense.

Start a website/ newsletter curating all the weekend domestic travel deals from all those companies who do day trips, weekend trips, domestic travel stuff.
Sometimes you miss out on stuff because you don't know where to look.
I'd curate one but I lack the time.
Imagine a website full of travel stuff, activity ideas from all types of budgets.
Also including these activities.

PRICING is just a touchy subject. Freelancers, content creators & artists, how do you decide on the price you charge for your services? Gather around.
(thread)
This conversation cropped up on twitter a few months back and I realized that many people (freelancers, content creators and even artists) don't know how much to charge for what they are offering.
How much do you charge for your services?
1. Competitor pricing
★ Look at other people in your niche and what they charge.
★ If you are an online freelancer, look at what other people charge on their profiles.
You might have to swallow your pride and ask directly. #createbrandbuild
