I’m walking out of class with my Harvard classmates tomorrow at 11:35 am to call for an end to the administration’s massive exploitation of our student workers.
This will be the first in a series of escalations until our student workers get the respect they deserve.
Am I a Harvard student worker? No I’m not. But we are directly impacted. Our TFs are a critical component of our education. If they can’t do their job because they don’t have good enough pay benefits and protections it impacts our ability to learn.
We are a community. Any attack on any part of us is an attack on all of us. We must stand together and fight for our graduate classmates as they would and do fight for us.
Update- my professor canceled class because they support the strike. So I will be walking out... from my dorm to the John Harvard statue for the @hgsuuaw rally

Republicans have been playing a +50 year chess game, that they have won, and now are flipping the board. While liberals continue playing checkers every two years.
Its time for a new generation and a new game.
I just got the coolest idea on what the first move in this new game looks like :)
Only this game will work to create an actual representative democracy for the first time in our nation's history. A type of human-centered politics. One that works to advance justice and equality to create peace. To make the American dream a reality.
Big win for the gun violence prevention movement today!
We turned out in record numbers and as a result- for the first time in our nations history we have gotten BILLIONS allocated to community based violence intervention programs.
This doesn’t change any gun laws but it’s a critical part of stopping people from picking up a gun in the first place!
A component to ending gun violence in isn’t just stopping guns from getting in the wrong hands- it’s addressing how to stop people from wanting to harm others
Now we just need to get the damn bill passed… but it’s made it this far
It is possible to see that Democrats are clearly the better option when it comes to addressing gun violence and also see that they have totally fucking failed to follow through on 95% of their promises.
Before you start saying but what about the filibuster?
They could do far more via reconciliation and left the filibuster for Gun Violance Prevention
+ Biden failed to get his nominee through for ATF Director literally bare fucking minimum. He has not appointed a national Director of Gun Violance Prevention as he promised (no sen conf needed) AND The department of justice is actively fighting to protect PLCAA
If trump gets re-elected it will be because progressive incompetence and a severe lack of leadership.
We have must be better organized than ever before in our nations history to proactively prevent Donald Trump‘s slow moving coup.
The cost of incompetence is death.
I am just 21 years old and I’ve been doing this work for almost 4 years now and already it has become abundantly clear if we fail it is because of severe incompetence and a lack of leader ship on our side
So I’m watching @lisaling last episode on conspiracy theories and just heard that in 2021 15% of the American public still believe that the government is controlled by a secret group of pedophiles.
That’s deeply concerning.
You only need 3.5% of the population to overthrow a government and we live in a country with more guns than people.
This is a serious threat to our republic and our national security. We have enough useful idiots and guns for something horrific to happen.
Active measures by the Russian SVR (former KGB) in collaboration with the IRA could weaponize this and get our republic to destroy itself with our firing a single shot.
So I’m in LA for work meetings this weekend- it’s 60-65° - Half the people I’ve met with are in puffer jackets and Uggs.
In the past four years I’ve lived in a place where this happens but when it’s below 75°(Florida) and now I live in Boston where already this semester I’ve seen it be 45° outside and people are in tank tops 😅
I lived in LA until I was 14 so this isn’t super surprising to me I guess I just kind of forgot having been on the East Coast for the past 7 years. I remember when it would rain when I was growing up in LA- it might as well have been a blizzard no one went out no one can drive
