The plight of the War Veterans is a national agenda. The mere fact that it's in the constitution makes it so. By standing with them it's just effective representation as a legislator. I seek nothing but a good Zimbabwe. Serving people without fear or favour.
That has always been me to those who know me. I just had to be there to give them hope. I know the Cdes, they are genuine and sincere despite languishing in poverty, they remain patriotic. Let's respect our freedom fighters.
I was privileged enough to be close to Perence Shiri, Zimondi and Muzariri as a young man and I used to hear what such Commanders had to say about War Veterans. When such Commanders talk all you need to do is listen, appreciate and understand.
War Veterans are the most genuine& sincere people but @ZANUPF_Official has tarnished their image. It has given them a bad name.
Seeing all the suffering they are going through I ask myself what would Shiri, Zimondi and Muzariri say about this if I just fold my hands. At times when you stand up its their spirit sending you. Unosundwa naMwari.

@daddyhope I don’t need to be told anything about you. I know you and you know that. We were together in Slough in the UK with Supa and while some of us went for double shifts you never did. Why, because you made money fraudulently through credit card fraud.
2/ Your narrative of being a correspondent for BBC is a fallacy because you were there on attachment. You are not a Christiane @camanpour or some such international journalists as you sell yourself to be as justification for the life you have.
3/There was never anything special about your being a journalist as to have the kind of life you have. The reason is that you made money through credit card fraud and selling the country out to the West.
#ICYMI 1/ Let’s not discount people’s relationships and where they came from when we make judgements. Many of these judgements are born out of ignorance too. Kuda and George have a close relationship which spans over two decades, they go way back.
2/ So when they gift each other to celebrate milestone achievements, they understand the sentiment. Just because George moved into Govt should that mean that his relationship with Kuda should stop? Not only that, they are brothers as they share the Madyira totem.
3/ This was even the basis that Kuda was invited to speak on this occasion despite being one who prefers to shy away from publicity. That they have the capacity to gift at a level that many of us may never achieve is also their prerogative (malevels dzakasiyana).
My problem with @daddyhope is why does he not also talk about Innscor, Billy Rautenbach, Univern who have plundered US$800 billion. The figures and evidence is there. There are reports from the Auditor General's report of squandered money.
The Public Accounts Committee also did a report and I won't preempt it because its coming detailing US$3 billion that was squandered. Tendai Biti was the Chairperson and there is no better person to deal with such.
We can't be accusing people of many things with no evidence. Some are just good businessmen, shrewd in what they do. We might as well accuse Strive Masiyiwa of looting. But he simply got a licence and made his money.
You must never provoke animals, that way they will never attack you. They are great and will even protect you. The elephant will even warn you.
Did you know an elephant has a memory of about 20 years with that trunk. If you try to do anything to it and it hits you with that trunk it remembers for 20 years.
Black rhinos, sad how they have been poached. Few species left, but great animals. Managed to see all the big five of the jungle. It's amazing how animals cohabitate. Deep thinking is needed to understand& worth spending time reading about it.
Happy birthday to George Guvamatanga, Madyira. Wish you many more years. Enjoy more life, hoping you have a new perspective of life after your near death experience with Covid. I understand, after such, your whole lifestyle changes. Enjoy your work, wealth and your family.
In the process I hope you also create a trust to help the disadvantaged. Very few move from the private sector into Gvt to help the country. Yours is a national service, same with Doug Munatsi of ZIDA.
I have known you to be a progressive Zimbabwean. Your type are needed to bring about the much needed change. 50 years is a milestone. All the best Madyira. @GGuvamatanga
One of the things which I must admit about, was how I hated NGOs due to @ZANUPF_Official propaganda which framed them as enemies of the state. Yet they were there to fight for people's rights, including those in ZANU.
Only when I left ZANU did the truth dawn on me. Also when I got arrested some of these organisations stood with me. @ZLHRLawyers gave me lawyers. I began to realise that Zanu hated them because they conscientise people and make them aware of their rights.
Going towards elections ZANU has started again contriving stories against them. There is no need for that. Zimbabweans know what they want.
