Very few know that there are two parts to Sunderlal Report. First part blames Hindus and the second and confidential annexure blames Muslims!! What exactly happened? After Khilafat Movement and the rise of Muslim League, fundamentalism increased in India.
It manifested itself in two ways in Hyderabad - Razakar Movement focussing on Islamic supremacy and a demographic change by inviting Muslims from outside Hyderabad. A combination of both, Hindus in the area had to flee from the areas especially from the areas where MIM is strong:
Osmanabad-Gulbarga region. The confidential report notes that these people who fled Hyderabad amidst Muslim atrocities followed the train of Indian army to reclaim their properties.
It's natural there will be resistance and bloodshed, there will be seizure of women in retaliation - this is more of a personal retaliation. Their women were taken away, their properties snatched and families scattered - they did exactly the same with those who did that to them.
This is what the Confidential Annexure talks about. Now, the statistics in the report is completely based on hearsay. The authors themselves say that. An interesting bit is Latur. The report says 2000-3000 deaths. But, the annexure says it's about 1000!!
Let me give you another example. The village of Morum. Muslim accounts give 1000 killed. Congress accounts give 400 killed. But, what's the actual? The report mentions that a part of this discontent is because of ex-employees who are sacked and
says the committee compiled a list of people who were incorrectly sacked. But, what does the confidential report say? Most of the Muslim employees fled their posts when the situation peaked and then, it also says, the new government needs people whom it can trust.
What exactly is the meaning of such sort of a double game? On one side, there is intellectual dishonesty. On the other side, there is data based on hearsay. On the third side, there is an overt communal bias in favour of Muslims. Why exactly?
Now, have a look at the recommendations made. Sickeningly overt communal bias.
1. Restoration of property to Muslims who lost them – including forcible ejection of current occupants, repairing damages, restoration of the abducted to their lawful guardians
(and in case guardians are not found, provide support and sustenance to them) and subsidization; and restoration of mosques; forced conversion should be declared null and void. Now, This doesn’t address what the Hindus suffered in the hands of Razakars, especially after 1946.
Should a Hindu who rightfully claimed his property back and retrieved his women should surrender them to the Muslim who became the owner of them due to the connivance of the Razakars?
b.Nizam should open up his purses to support the Muslims who suffered. Not a word on Hindus who suffered in the hands of Razakars again!!
c.Military rule should be extended further by three more years to instill confidence in the Muslims and
not hand over the power to the democratic government which is going to be headed by Hindus anyways!! That besides, Muslims enjoying confidence of the masses(read Muslims of the older government) should be made a part of the military government.
d. Termination of employees of the old government should be stopped.
e. As against the current norm of setting free all but the worst perpetrators, all those suspected to be guilty should be punished. They should be asked at least to ask for a public recantation and pardon!!
The bigger question is why did Nehru commission such a report that too when military tribunal was doing it's work and without informing the incharge minister Sardar Patel. The report is self-contradictory and is based on hearsay - there is no wonder Patel rejected it outright.

Some facts on Indian Invasion of Hyderabad
1. It is said that a person from Nizam's delegation to UN warned Patel and told him to complete the conquest before they present their case in UN - which Patel did.
2. VP Menon tapped the phone of India's CIC Roy Bucher and forced him to resign. When Patel announced that the army will cross the border the next day, Bucher called his Pakistani counterpart and asked him to do whatever is possible to stop India from invading Hyderabad
3. Nizam's CIC El Edroos went to Europe to procure weapons for the War. Mountbatten stumbled across him in Dorchester Hotel, London and El Edroos told Mountbatten he came to London for an eye surgery. Mountbatten didn't notify the Indian Government.

See. Another state, same story. The British increase the taxes drastically and it's the king of Nilagiri who takes the beating because of that. Image
Let me try to make this a thread. Whenever I come across my old stuff, I will plug it here.
Vishwanath Shahdeo, the Zamindar of Barkagarh joined the War of Independence in 1857 because the missionaries converted tribals and instigated them to forcibly take over his lands. Image

We are guilty but we are not guilty. Anyone and everyoe who breaks law is innocent - and we will do everything to prove him innocent.
Anyways. In this context, let me tell you how Sylhet was conquered by Muslims.
Those were the days when Sylhet was still a Hindu kingdom. It had a considerable number of Muslims - mostly law abiding. There was this one person who decided to celebrate his son's birthday by - slaughtering a cow.
Note, he decides to slaughter a cow in a kingdom where cow slaughter is banned. And he knows that. And he still does that. The news spreads and he is executed. A criminal getting killed for a crime shouldn't be an issue, right?

There are three things with this.
1. India exported 200 million vials of Covaxin till now. That means India need not export vials anymore
2. Failed vaccines like Pfizer are already accepted. They claimed two does are enough and @WHO bleated yes - now it turns out that either Pfizer and others didn't share correct information or WHO didn't scrutinize the data diligently, risking lives of people all over the world.
3. Snake oil like Sinovac which is replaced by something else by other countries is already approved.
The less we talk about @WHO, the better. Can we even forget how they rejected to accept the early warnings on COVID from Taiwan?

In some group, I asked a few years ago, why should Yedyurappa fight for BJP anymore. His political career is nearing an end and he knows his son is not going to succeed him - why would he accept anything less than a CM post before gracefully retiring - which he did.
I will ask the same question with Hasina. With no political successor and staring at the end of her political career, why would she want to go down in the history of Bangladeshi History as the most unIslamic Head of State? She has got nothing left in her life except legacy
and yes. To be remembered after her exit, there is only one path ahead for her - make the 20% Hindus of Bangladesh 2%. And that's what she is going to do. Unless India bends Bangladesh and teaches it some manners, the genocide of Bangladeshi Hindus is going to be certainty.

Who are all these jokers with zero ground knowledge? Thousand Pillar temple stands because Ulugh Khan's thugs didnt have the capability to demolish those hard granite statues, not because he loved the architecture.

Almost every Nandi statue in Warangal you see will be with mutiliated ears, snout and broken legs. By the way, care to explain why there are only three or four Kakatiya Era temples surviving in Hanamkonda when Warangal Fort itself is reputed to have more than a thousand temples?
Coming to Thousand Pillars Temple itself. You say it's not touched, right? Let's ignore the vicious damage to the Nandi idols. The temple is called Trikutalaya and it has three sanctums - for Siva, Vishnu and Surya. Care to explain where the Siva and Vishnu idols disappeared?
