Gujarat hosts 27.5mmtpa of LNG import terminals (52% of total capacity in India) and will add more over the next couple of years.
Some of these are-
1-Chhara Jaffrabad (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) – 5 mmtpa – is expected to be commissioned in 18 months.
2- The recently commissioned Mundra LNG re-gasification terminal is operating at 40% capacity. With increase in the capacity of

3-Petronet LNG is expanding its Dahej terminal capacity further from 17.5 mmtpa to 20 mmtpa by FY24-25 by adding two tanks.

4- Anjar-Chotila pipeline should be commissioned by December 2021 which is likely to have incremental around 5mmscmd volumes from calendar year (CY) 2022.
5- LNG Regas capacity in Gujarat is set to reach 42mmtpa in the next 3-4 years
