The Right to Carry a Gun Finally Gets its Day in Supreme Court on Wednesday

Biden triggered, announces gun control executive actions to appease his base

I predict that tomorrow you will hear at least five Supreme Court justices asking questions in court that tip the public to their support for gun carry rights and overturning the lower court ruling .
I don’t believe Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito would have gone along with taking up the New York gun carry case if they didn’t believe they had the votes to finish the job started in Supreme Court ruling in Heller.
Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh are known Second Amendment right supporters. Justice Amy Barrett vote is not clear on guns.

However, there is no way Alito and Thomas would risk a case this important on unreliable Chief Justice John Roberts.

He was financial analyst in @USAID Office of Economics Growth in Afghanistan, which is why the Taliban is after him.

He was captured & beaten in 2019. The Taliban member who assaulted him was put in Bagram prison, but got out in Aug. Now the terrorist is hunting him.

I grabbed my range bag from the back of my car and walked toward my cameraman, Jason @FOXPhotog, who was sitting on a bench outside the shooting range. I smiled and remarked we were on a fun assignment that day for TV news.

Moments later, I accidentally pointed a loaded gun at @FOXPhotog's stomach and almost shot him.

So, I understand a little of what Alec Baldwin must feel for shooting his cinematographer.

The Hollywood version of the Alec Baldwin story is that the actor killed a woman with a prop gun and a blank and is not at fault.

The true story is that Baldwin shot two people with a real gun and did not follow safety rules.

The media version of the Alec Baldwin story is the crew made a mistake and gave the actor one live round of ammunition that killed two people.

The factual version is no one knows what was in the gun.

Gen. Colin Powell always said about politics, “It’s just business.” He meant, it’s not personal.

It helps to make political issues “just business” because it takes out the emotional charge.

It was a shame his privacy was taken.

He was so careful in public life to moderate his speech and his writing. He didn’t inflame people with words.
