Ok, summary tweets on the Gulfy McGulfGulf story (I think I got everything)

- Iran said US tried to seize a vessel carrying Iranian crude oil transferred into another tanker and then the IRGCN went after the newly loaded tanker and got it back.
- Vessel is the SOTHYS

- SOTHYS had Iranian crude oil aboard which was denied in China and "sent back"
- IRGCN release footage of them boarding the SOTHYS
- US Navy are in and around the area at the time.
- US Officials say they didn't try board the vessel

- Iran claims they were attempting to seize the vessel.
- Video shows IRGCN and USN getting cozy in the Gulf
- Video has the IRGCN boarding and seizing the vessel
-IRGCN warned the USN to stay away.
- Vessel has been taken to near Bandar Abbas

-USN just chilling in the video and watching, to be honest.
- Incident happened on the 24th October
- Probably got kept quiet until now as tomorrow is the anniversary of the US embassy takeover

2 x Arleigh Burke-class and a Sentinel-Class isn't exactly a large number, when USS ESSEX (LHD 2), USS Portland (LPD 27), USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) and other members of 5th fleet in the area aren't anywhere in the video.

2 x Arleigh Burke-class isn't really going to be a match for a swarm of IRGC fast crafts either, really.
