38) For the first time, reported cases nationally are now most commonly children under the age of 12, who do not qualify to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Children under 12 make up about 20% of new daily cases, Dr. Tam said, though they represent only 12% of the population.

Estimates: Penn National earnings per share were seen dropping 20% to 64 cents, but sales were set to gain 34% to $1.51 billion.
Results: Penn earnings per share declined 44% vs. a year earlier. Revenue came in at $1.51 billion.
