The most important source for Christopher Steele and his Dossier fraud -- not one of his sources, but *the* most important -- was just indicated for lying to the FBI. What we are seeing, again, is that the real crimes were in the origins of Russiagate, spread mindlessly by media.

NYT & WashPost showered themselves with Pulitzers for their monomaniacal obsession with Russiagate. Even after Mueller admitted he could find no evidence to establish the conspiracy and indicted *nobody* for it, they persisted. We'll see what they do now:

1/ Now that Christopher Steele's main source was just indicted for lying to FBI, media outlets are pretending it was never important to them, just a weird thing BuzzFeed did that had nothing to do with their "reporting about" Trump/Russia for which they gave themselves Pulitzers.

2/ To see what a lie that is, just look at the thread in the above tweet with repeatedly them hyping the Dossier. Or look at the great reporting @ErikWemple did showing how CNN, @maddow, @NatashaBertrand gained enormous rewards for constantly touting it:

3/ But ultimately, when it comes to the Russiagate fraud, these 2 overarching facts will never go away.

1) Mueller closed his probe after 18 months and charged *zero* Americans with criminally conspiring with Russia: ZERO on the core crime.

2) He wrote this in his Final Report:

4/ This is why Adam Schiff, in his new book, accused Mueller of being senile. Everyone knows what liberals were promised (mass arrests of the Trump family for conspiring with Russia) and what they got (no charges on that crime). How to explain the disparity? Mueller is senile.

5/ The same month Mueller closed his investigation, John Brennan (CIA/MSNBC) was promising liberals arrests were coming for the Trump family for conspiring with Russia. Never happened.

Same thing now with 1/6: ZERO indictments for sedition, insurrection, trying to kidnap AOC etc

6/ The audience of these liberal corporate outlets (not NYT or WPost but the cable networks and the online digital liberal outlets) is disappearing rapidly. You can only keep your cult for so long by repeatedly promising a Doomsday date that never comes.

7/ Adam Schiff spent 4 years going on every cable and Sunday TV show he could find to vow he had seen "smoking gun evidence" proving criminal conspiracy between Trump & Russia. Somehow Mueller never saw it. But the whole media was behind this fraud so they can't self-correct now.
