OFFICIAL UPDATE on the #IkoyiBuildingCollapse: As at this afternoon, 38 bodies have been recovered so far .. according to the commissioner of information, Mr Gbenga Omotoso. He says bodies are ready for identification from 4pm today at the IDH, Yaba.

Answer: That is what the LAW says.
NEW DEVICE ON SITE: Commissioner Special Duties says that the State appreciates NEMA’s support but the device belongs to them, Lagos State Govt deployed their own device from the first day on the site and it has helped in the recovery process.

Number of people rescued from the collapsed 21-storey building in Ikoyi has increased to 15, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed on Saturday.
Sanwo-Olu, while giving an update on the search and rescue operation at the scene, said additional six people were evacuated alive from the collapsed structure and are currently being treated at the Police Hospital in Falomo, Ikoyi.
