Your level of success is determined by the quality of your thoughts.

Here’re my 7 favourite ideas on building a strong mindset from James Clear 👇🧵
Most people spend their lives growing on poor foundations.

But if you want to do something truly great,

The journey begins in your mind.

These attitudes will help.
“Aim to be great in 10 years.”

Society has normalised immediate gratification.

Long-term thinking is rare.

Here’s the truth:

There’s little you can’t accomplish with an increased time frame.

Compounding is powerful.

So, set a 10-year plan.

Then take it a day at a time.
“Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.”

People talk too much and act too little.

But results come with effort; what you put in you get out.

It boils down to this:

How bad do you want it?

If you're serious, spare time becomes THE time.
“The task of building a good habit is like cultivating a delicate flower one day at a time.”

Can you relate?

You go to learn and get overwhelmed.

See, every skill has multiple levels. Diving in is not effective.

Focus on the fundamentals.

Let your passion grow as you do.
“You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”

There’s a long period between goal setting and achieving.

= The dip

The monkey mind starts. Systems shut it down.

You do the work you set out to do.

Because it gets the results you want.
"We're so focused on figuring out the best approach that we never get around to taking action."

Plans are procrastination in disguise.

The truth:

No plan survives first contact with the enemy.

You're avoiding what scares you.

So challenge yourself outside the comfort zone.
“The person who learns the most in any classroom is the teacher.”

Feynman once said,

“If you want to master something, teach it”

Why?

Because you don’t know how little you know until you explain it.

Don't hoard your knowledge.

Share it, add value, and learn.
“The more control you have over your attention, the more control you have over your future.”

Attention is not infinite.

& the quality of inputs determines the output.

Trust me.

Turn off the TV,

Delete IG.

Ignore negativity.

See how much better you think.

Want to become great at copywriting, 10x faster?

You need to try this👇🧵
This is a tactic A-list copywriters swear by.

But many people question if it works.

The technique?

Handwriting sales pages.

And I'll admit...

I was skeptical too.
But I gave it a go.

Success leaves clues, after all.

The target:
45 minutes per day
2 months

Here’s what I found:

1/3rd of your life is spent working.

Not enjoying it is unacceptable.

Here’re 6 Psychological Biases You Must Overcome to Pursue Your Dream Career 👇
Several months ago, I finally took the plunge and quit my job to build a business online.

It was the scariest decision I made.

And it was only possible once I removed the biases that held me back.

Here's what they are - and how you can beat them.
Sunken Cost Fallacy

We keep investing in what we've invested in before.

Even if it isn't right for us.

It hurts to admit our past was ‘wasted’.

It feels like failure.

But Warren Buffett once said, “The best thing to do when you find yourself in a hole is to stop digging.”

Stoicism is perfect for the ambitious.

But the best advice came from a slave.

Here’re 7 powerful ideas from Epictetus that will help you achieve success 🧵
“Small-minded people blame others. Average people blame themselves. The wise see all blame as foolishness.”

Blame focuses on the bad:
• It solves nothing
• It makes you bitter
• It ruins relationships

Instead:

Use your energy to change the future, not resent the past.
“It is impossible for a man to learn what he thinks he already knows.”

The ego hates looking stupid.

And so we fail to learn.

But the more you know about life, the better you can navigate it.

So, always presume you know nothing.

And you’ll learn everything.

Do you wish you were more confident?

10 years ago, I could barely talk to a stranger. Now, the people I grew up with don't recognise me.

Here're 7 simple but effective tactics you can use to build great self-esteem 🧵 👇
When you have low confidence, you can be your worst enemy.

But if you stop getting in your own way,

I promise you'll do amazing things.

Here’s what I found helped me.
Own Your Flaws

Trust me,

It feels easier to hide your flaws.

But avoidance isn’t a solution – it’s a plaster.

While everyone buries theirs, dig yours up.

Make jokes about them.

Show vulnerability.

And over time, you'll rule them - instead of being ruled by them.

I’ve broken my neck. I've got a neurological disorder. My spine is held together by metal – and I have zero complaints.

Here’re 7 truths I’ve learned that will keep you smiling through hard times:
Before we begin:

Life will always throw shit at you.

But you control what comes next.

Here’s what helps me choose the best response – I hope it helps you too.
The World Owes You Nothing

I’ll be honest,

At 18, I used to think "why me?"

What I know now:

Self-pity is a poison that’s sweet on the lips.

It takes you nowhere.

And it’s unfair on those supporting you.

Sometimes, shit happens.

Focus on what you can do instead.

I started writing a year ago. Now, the craft is my life.

Here’re 9 Reasons Why Writing Every Day is the Ultimate Habit for Success:
Writing Wins Decisions

Most people don’t consider the impact of their decisions.

They react and then act.

Writing makes you think deeper:

You reflect on consequences and think second-order.

The effect of improved decisions compound over time.

The impact?

Massive.
Writing Destroys Worries

We suffer more in imagination than reality.

Easy to hear, hard to apply.

There’s never a problem you can’t tame with writing.

It brings understanding
It brings rationality
It brings solutions

It quietens the monkey mind, so you can do great things.
