Zoe is a colorist a Spoke & Weal & will be out of work at least a month.

Zoe & her boyfriend say someone driving by hit them multiple times and sped away.

Zoe says every day is touch and go. Her ophthalmologist can’t say if she’ll ever get her sight back, it’s just too early.

Last year at least 4 people have been hit by paintballs in Bernal Heights. A 19-y/o also shot at a pregnant woman in Marin around the same time. (3/4)

𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗵 & 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗯: the Providence Christian women’s team van was broken into Weds while taking a hike break in Lands End.

Ab 10 suitcases were stolen.

They were passing through on their way to a tournament in Redding (1/4) #SanFrancisco

Little did they know a woman found their discarded belongings several blocks away.

She told her neighbor Mark who brought all the items back to his home.

He found the coach’s number in a bag &
the team picked up their gear & items just in time for their game (2/4) #crime

Mark says he does this to help SFPD trying to reunite items “I do this to motivate more neighbors & inspire and encourage others to do it.”

The coach was proud of his players for staying positive during the frustrating ordeal. Even dancing & making a rap! (3/4) #SanFrancisco

BMW owner Bill brought his car to America’s Tire in Santa Clara in Sept. (1/4)

He says the car came back with a crack in the windshield and a nick in the paint.

When he checked the dash cam video he was shocked to see the workers rev the engine, laugh, talk about throwing car parts & then mock Bill using an Asian accent. (2/4) #bmw #StopAAPIHate

After Bill’s friend w/ 219K followers on IG posted the video Bill says AT offered him a new set of tires & $5K & asked for the video to be removed.

This happened just a couple hours ago around Larkin & O’Farrell in San Francisco.#StopAsianHate #StopAAPIHate (1/3)

The suspect even BREAKS the cane & leaves for a moment then returns & appears to rob the senior.

The victim has to be taken to the hospital and I’m told the suspect was arrested.

On a human note— I see a lot of this s**t as a reporter.

While it is ALL awful, there is something especially egregious that makes me sick about crimes targeting the elderly who use need help walking. I can’t help but think of this:

𝗕𝗨𝗦 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗢: Oakland woman shields 69y/o man as he is attacked w/a cane—“𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵.”

Mychelle was riding the bus 4/26 when a man starts yelling & hits Mr. Hua Lin in the head (1/5) #StopAsianHate

Mychelle blocks the man f/Mr. Lin, pushes Mr. Lin against the Plexiglass to protect him.

She then tells the driver to stop, jumps out, flags down an ambulance & chases the perp while recording w/her cell.

The man comes back to attack Mychelle! But Mr. Lin is safe. #oakland

I visited Mr. Lin and his daughter after the incident. He was having trouble seeing and sleeping.

This incident happened the same day Oakland Chinatown Chamber president Carl Chan was attacked by someone else.

Thien was w/ his kids Weds PM when a man asks him what kind of flag is on his house (1/4)

This is the flag. It’s a dinosaur. Thien bought it for his 3y/o son.

Thien thought the man was asking ab his “Taga” brand bike. Taga sounds like Tagalog, which is spoken in the Philippines. (Thien is Vietnamese.)

The man then starts calling Thien all kinds of things… (2/4)
