My flight from Jos to Lagos was scheduled for 12pm but I got to the airport at about 11am only to be told the flight was rescheduled to 10am and it had left as at my arrival time at the airport. I didn’t want to spend an extra day in Jos #ThrowbackMiracles
So I called the office to book a flight from Abuja to Lagos for me so I could travel by road to Abuja to connect with the flight to Lagos.
I took a cab from the park in Jos and we headed to Abuja as planned. We were about 35km into Abuja when all of a sudden, #ThrowbackMiracles
I became restless. I was seated at the back and for some weird reasons, I told the driver to park and allow me seat at the front. We had barely moved 400m when I noticed the car was jerking profusely and I asked the driver what was wrong with the car. #ThrowbackMiracles
He said it was the nozzle and I told him to park let’s check what was wrong. Instead of parking, he called someone on the phone, presumably a mechanic as he was speaking Hausa which I didn’t understand but I remember he kept mentioning nozzle. #ThrowbackMiracles
While he was still on the phone, a car double-crossed us and shouted “fire dey comot from your exhaust”. He said he had been trailing us to intimate us of the danger. Instantly, the driver parked and we (driver, my colleague and I) dashed out of the car. #ThrowbackMiracles
We quickly picked our belongings in the car and the driver brought out the fire extinguisher to manage the situation. The next thing we heard was boom & the car went into flames. All these (from when we parked to when it exploded)happened in less than 10 sec. #ThrowbackMiracles
The car that left Jos in perfect condition was completely burnt in an instant. While I was seated at the back, I used the seatbelt and because people hardly use the back seat belt, it was a bit rusty and difficult to unhook at the time I switched my seat. #ThrowbackMiracle
It was God that made me feel uncomfortable as I probably wouldn’t have switched my seat neither would I have noticed the jerking car which in turn made the driver place a call that reduced his speed & allowed the other road user to catch up and alert us. #ThrowbackMiracles
When fire starts, the seat belt becomes very difficult to unhook. Now imagine if I was trapped at the back seat with my seatbelt on? I couldn’t sleep for 3 good days as I kept imagining how things could have gone south if not for God. #ThrowbackMiracles
From the rescheduled flight to the near death accident. 29th of November 2021 would make it a year God showed up for me and I am eternally grateful for the gift of life. #ThrowbackMiracle

As an addendum to my earlier post on the basics of politics, I think we need to discuss the team that make up each arm of the Government at the various tiers and what we should be demanding from them.
t is important to remind us that Nigeria operates a bi-camera legislative system which implies that at the Federal Government tier, we have 2 houses that perform the legislative functions - Senate and the House of Representatives.
The senate is the upper house while the lower house is the House of Representatives. We have 109 senators - 3 from each state and 1 from the FCT and 360 House of Representative members- this is derived by the number of Federal constituency per state which is in variation.
Knowledge they say is power and from all indication, the Government have deliberately deprived the masses of the required information to enable them demand good governance through the right channel. No wonder the Bible says “my people people die for lack of Knowledge.”
Since they have failed in educating us on the basics of politics, we would do well to educate ourselves.
If you reside in Amuwo Odofin Local Government or Oriade Local Council Development area as the case may be, this information concerns you and i implore you to spread the message to all residents so we can collectively start demanding good governance from our elected Gov officials
The number one cause of unemployment in Nigeria is our Educational curriculum which in my opinion is designed to produce Job seekers as against Job creators the country earnestly requires and it is further worsened by the stereotype which suggests that students
who are more vocationally inclined are academically deficient.
The long term plan to address this issue is to review our curriculum like i have always emphasized such that every student must learn a vocation/skill as a prerequisite to passing out from the secondary school.
Skills such as programming/coding, sport science, fashion designing, cinematography/music production, catering, carpentry, fish farming, Technology research, public speaking etc should be taught at the secondary school. These skills/vocation should be structured such that
Can we really have a free and fair elections in 2019? One thing is certain: The electoral reform is expected to a large extent make the elections free and fair but why is the president refusing to assent to the bill? I would try and break it down as best as possible but like I
Would always say, this is my opinion and you can always correct me where you think I’m wrong.
It is easy for a court of law to adjudge an election to be free but it is very difficult to prove that it is fair and that is the loophole election riggers are exploiting.
These loopholes come in the form of substituting card readers for manual just to perfect the rigging plan, scaring away opposition voters, top to bottom sequence of elections etc.
All these were some of the issues the electoral bill was meant to address but as expected, it wasn’t
Pictures of the Moribund skill acquisition centre in Ijegun Egba, Satellite Town area in Amuwo Odofin LGA Lagos state.
It’s bad enough that the Government have failed to realize that our current Educational curriculum in the country is designed to produce job seekers
as against job creators which we are in dire need of but it’s more pathetic that a centre that is supposed to serve as an empowerment platform for the youths was neglected to this dilapidated state with no effort from the Government to revive it.
In my opinion, the first step in correcting the problem of unemployment in the country is to inculcate vocational studies in the Secondary school syllabus and every student must learn a vocation or skill as a prerequisite to passing out of the secondary school
They claimed the Federal Government under the PDP regime was deliberately sabotaging their efforts on delivering good governance in Lagos State and in our usual fashion we believed them
but report suggests that Lagos State is worse off under the three years of APC led Federal and State government than the 16 years of PDP Federal Government.
Deplorable state of major roads and the accompanying life-sapping traffic, Failed visionscape initiate(waste management),
double taxation, lack of adequate social amenities, wastage in executing projects and redundancy of the Local Government are little of the attestations to how abysmal this dispensation have fared.
