2. #ArmChairGenerals It has become absolutely customary to ‘distribute’ these ‘arm chair’ awards after a person attains a Maj Gen or equivalent rank. It goes by seniority, Command Stream, Lanyard, Rank, Residual Service, Blue Eyes, I mean anything. Each has an entire HQ of staff.

3. #ArmChairGenerals The ‘Staff’ is highly qualified and gets posted on merit. Each looks after his portfolio independently, each senior staffs career progress depends on Generals pen. A Maj Gen practically has no task since forces have absolutely drawn on concrete procedures.

4. #ArmChairGenerals Whether it’s staff or command, there is practically nothing to do. Operationally everything is controlled by one up higher HQ, administration by staff. This is BRITISH INDIAN ARMY made processes that are so strictly followed. #RadicalMilitaryReforms

5. #ArmChairGenerals #RadicalMilitaryReforms Di”o not expect any reform from @adgpi @IAF_MCC or @indiannavy since these very people preside. @PMOIndia @rajnathsingh are the right people to initiate Radical Military Reforms. There should be 1. NO AWARDS ABOVE COLONELS 2. No awards

6. #ArmChairGenerals #RadicalMilitaryReforms for arm chair bound officers whether Colonel or General except for gallantry 3. Abolish 100% of AVSM, PVSM, VSM, UYSM and SM(D) and every ‘free’ benefit it gets 4. Stop rank and file & veterans ridiculing such awards. They demotivate.
