OK - now Jan 6 case of US v. Alan William Byerly before District of DC Federal judge Randolph D. Moss. It is public accessible by call-in line [unlike US v. #Ghislaine Maxwell trial, separate thread) and Inner City Press will live tweet it, thread below
Byerly's lawyer: We working to receive the discovery, it's ongoing. There will be motions, so if the court wants to set a trial date with the motions built in.
Judge Moss: You're the defendant, tell me when you want to file your motions.
Byerly's lawyer: Jan 14.
Judge Moss: And we'll have a hearing on February 10. I could pencil in a trial date today if you like.
Byerly's lawyer: Yes let's pencil one in now.
Judge Moss: How long does the US need for trial?
Assistant US Attorney: I'm going to ask for a week.
Judge Moss: Including jury selection?
AUSA: Yes.
Clerk: We could say April 11, but the DC public school break makes it hard to get jurors.

Judge Moss: So, trial the week of April 11. Meanwhile, Mr. Byerly was directed to pay $250 a month for counsel and he has not been doing so.

AUSA Rohrbach: It should have been disclosed; it is about a collateral matter.

Before Visoski re-takes the stand (scheduled for 9:30), Judge Nathan brings up again the unidentified juror who'd have to travel between Christmas and New Years.
Maxwell's lawyer Pagliuca: We'd like to know which juror it is, or at least if they are an alternate.
