On this day in in 1939, after false flag attack and propaganda offensive, the Soviet Red Army launched an invasion of Finland all along the 1300 km border. The following #WinterWar would last 105 days with Finland holding off the Soviet attacks.

This official Russian line is a complete lie. In 1939 USSR was allied with the Third Reich and the secret Molotov-Ribbentrop pact placed Finland into the Soviet hands. Germany refused to help Finland and blocked military aid to Finland during Winter War.
In fact the German Navy had a secret submarine base operating in the USSR during the Winter War. German military operations were done from Soviet soil as their ally.

81 years ago today the Winter War between Finland and Soviet Union ended. Finland paid heavily for the peace, but the sacrifice saved the nation from a genocide in Stalin's hands.

80 years ago in 1939 the Finnish nation underwent it's greatest crucible when the USSR attempted to invade the democratic peaceful nation.

The massive #Vostok2018 starts on 9.11.

The drill will pitch the Russian Easter Military District and the Pacific Fleet against the Central Military District and the Northern Fleet.

Drill area will stretch from #Finland to #China.

Western and Southern MDs shouldn't take part

The same #Russian T-62MV without ERA, that was spotted on a train at Kamensk Shakhtinsky on 31.8 was unloaded before noon 1.9 and spotted heading towards #Ukraine on a trailer.

Same road also showed several other Russian military convoys.
