So, is it pretty well agreed that if someone won't say if they are vaccinated or not, they probably are not? I mean, if you are vaccinated, why wouldn't you say so? Unless you're a conservative politician.... 1/

I know a lot of people say it's a privacy issue, but I want to know if, for example, my dentist and dental hygienist, who will be breathing over my open mouth for an extended period of time, are vaccinated. To me, saying they can't release that information is a red flag. 2/

Likewise, if you have to have someone come into your home to deal with a broken appliance. They should be happy to say upfront, and even provide paperwork. Or people who will be guests at an event you are hosting or attending... 3/

Honestly, a "privacy" issue? I just don't think so. Asking someone if they wash their hands after using the toilet is a pretty personal question, but they should be able to say emphatically YES, without hesitation. We don't ask, because we assume they do. 4/

But if there was some doubt, for instance, if you saw your restaurant server in the restaurant washroom go from the stall to right out the door and back to work, without washing their hands, you might actually lose your appetite and leave. 5/

Isn't some reasonable assurance of safety from germs and viruses, that we all know about and can prevent the spread of, something we should be able to ask for? 6/
