Two quick things before the @ArizonaIRC hearings in Payson and Window Rock get underway this evening.
1) The transcript [Here: tinyurl.com/IRCtranscripts ] and word cloud from the hearing last night -
and 2) the link [ ] to the virtual meeting at noon tomorrow w/ @ArizonaIRC and #ArizonaLegislativeLeaders. Again: look to see if they receive the exalted treatment of the @SALCLeaders or that of other mere mortals.

As the go through pro-forma beginnings - I will point out that any documents received from the AZ Legislature have not been made public. Nearly a year into operations they still act as if they have no official obligations of functional operations.

So. Very. Interesting. Once again, Commissioner Mehl is exposed as manipulating the @ArizonaIRC for partisan interests. Will it make any difference to how @ErikaNeuberg considers "fair and competitive."

It would not be inappropriate for Commissioner Mehl to resign. He's a cheat. And it is not so much that he cheats - it is that he feels free to cheat without consequence. There is "right" and there is "fair". Com. Mehl has demonstrated he can not be trusted to be either.
Tune in today for the @ArizonaIRC meeting at noon when the AIRC hears from the Arizona State Legislature on the proposed draft maps.
What a farce. In not a good or humorous way.

Hearings in Payson and Window Rock getting underway..... I see four of the five commissioners - Com. Mehl chairing - virtually. Looks like Vice Chair Watchman is in Window Rock and Chair @ErikaNeuberg is in Payson. and there are audio issues...
In introductions they continue to name party and county. Sigh...
Leaving for a bit and will meet you back here in about 30 minutes...

Marybel - Add Glendale - they are neighbors, friends and have similar experiences w/ Avondale. DO not include Peoria - they have different experiences. Please create district that will listen to people in our community.
Back to Pine Top --- -- On behalf of 17K members of San Carols Apache Tribe - submits letter - LD 6 and Cd 2 in current drafts - any proposal that fractionates the Am Indian population will dilute their voice.. Imperative to maintain a robust Am Indian opportunity district.

And there is a meeting this Thursday at noon with @ArizonaIRC w/Arizona State Legislature Leaders RE: Reports or Memorial submissions. Interesting that Chair @ErikaNeuberg did not mention it at today's business meeting. So odd. Here is the agenda.

Chair Watchman is chairing the hearing tonight. @ErikaNeuberg is in Pinetop w/ the Chair; Com. Mehl is virtual. Audio is troubled. Neither locale looks to be overflowing.

Oh wait - here they are -- what did we miss? On Item agenda #5! WTF? is this #Transparency?
Geneal mapping update - 201 published plans. Q: how many have the @ArizonaIRC actually considered? not more than a handful. Not a great way to generate public trust.

I am so offended by them patting themselves on the back for these "metrics".
