Who funds them?
Why are they meeting with antivaxxers and conspiracy theorists?

It's shocking the green book is still referring to Viners April 2020 study to justify lack of mitigations

Until we acknowledge the role schools play in transmission we dont have a hope of getting on top of this

2/ Viners review searched through studies, many weren't on covid and those that did were based on Preprints and very early rough data sets, its clearly wrong and any reference to it should be withdrawn immediately

3/ Viner comments around schools has been questionable throughout the pandemic

He lied about there being masks and social distancing on #r4today in late Spring after arguing for masks to be removed (which they had been)

There is no data for this, just some anecdotes, said same about Delta...
Ah the guest was hereditary Tory peer Matt Ridley, looking at his track record I think he's done enough damage to this country without taking Pandemic advice from him
Ridley is a great example of the damage the privileged aristocracy can do

Miriam Cates read out UsForThems petition against vaccination at Westminster Hall debate, quoted HART and is vice chair of an APPG set up by Great Barrington Declaration authors

Shes pro infection for children

She used the debate to repeatedly spout vaccine disinformation
Its disgraceful that Miriam Cates argued for halting vaccine roll out for students, quoting antivaxxer HART member Paton.

The APPG is funded by the opaquely funded Collateral Global whose members are heavily involved in Koch linked organisations
